The last post was about the 911 consolidation. The Journal Gazette had the story at 12:40 p.m. WANE has the story at 11:32 a.m., at least according to their site. They’ve been know to fudge the times of a articles release on their web site. Indiana’s News center has yet to post anything.

I can’t believe this. No, then again I guess I can.
The way WANE delivers this p.o.s. report, you would think they broke the story. They state, “it’s a story we first brought you as breaking news last night at 6:00.” Breaking? Actually is was 6:42 p.m. when they lifted the story off of this site and placed it on their web site. We broke the story originally at 3:49 pm.
It doesn’t surprise me that they didn’t use the oh so plagiaristic Emily Marini to do the story. Still feeling the “ouch” from that I suppose.

Update: As predicated, WANE has killed all the comments on their article.

It looks like someone from WANE decided it wasn’t right for Emily Marini to essentially “lift” a story from this site for their use, (see here).
They decided to delete it and post a new story.
