The rain as most of you know came down in buckets. It stopped at a couple of minutes before 9:00. In spite of the rain we had a good turn out, close to 300 people.

Dear Friends:
Hoosiers value their freedoms. In the current health care battle, those freedoms are under attack. If politicians and Washington bureaucrats get their way – a government takeover of your health care – then we will lose the freedom to choose our doctors, what type of care we want and the insurance plans we choose.
Nothing is more important than your family’s health. That is why I’ve agreed to coordinate the Indiana leg of the Patients First “Hands off my Health Care” bus tour project. It starts next week! I believe you are most qualified to make the health care decisions that affect you and your family.
I believe when you or a family member is sick, you should be able to get care quickly – not months or years later. And I believe your medical privacy is paramount. Don’t let Washington bureaucrats come between you and your doctor. Join us next week on our Indiana bus tour to protect the right to choose your doctor, your care and to protect your privacy. Tell Washington to keep their “Hands Off My Health Care!” www.joinpatientsfirst.com

I just got out of bed at 3:30 this afternoon. I’ve basically been in bed since Saturday morning with yet another diverticulitis attack. There’s nothing that quite helps like 30+ hours of sleeping and sweating & sweating and sleeping. And I awoke to this news.
White House appears ready to drop ‘public option’
So it looks like the so-called white-haired political terrorists and mobs are getting their point across. Read on.
Arlen Specter proved that legislators are not reading HB 3200. At one of his recent town hall meetings he was asked by a “union member” if everyone would be forced to have health care, whether they wanted it or not.
I’m sure that employers will cringe when they see this.
For businesses with payrolls greater than $400,000 per year. (The bill uses “contribution” to refer to mandatory payments to the government plan.) Pages 149-150, SEC. 313, EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTIONS IN LIEU OF COVERAGE
Patterico reports an exchange between Roxana Mayer via her University of Houston e-mail address where she admits she’s a liar. Mayer appeared at Sheila Jackson Lee’s town hall meeting and as you’ll see in the video below, she claimed she was a general practitioner.
Read his post, it also shows how the mainstream media doesn’t fact check. In this case it was the Houston Chronicle. Also check out the Lone Star Times on how they uncovered the truth as well as a Che Guevara connection.
In most states it’s illegal to represent yourself as a doctor if you don’t have a license to practice. Then again, maybe it’s just okay for the democrats to play doctor?

“Should Noelle Bush be getting favorable treatment because she is the daughter of Governor Jeb Bush and niece of President GW Bush? Absolutely NOT! Why do the Bush girls think they are above the law? The answer is simple. They are NOT. Noelle, age 24, has either been involved or found guilty of; Impersonating a doctor to obtain drugs.
Indiana Republicans want Baron Hill to apologize for labeling constituents who disagree with him as ‘terrorists’
Questioning comments he made to aWashington Postreporter in a story published Monday, the Indiana Republican Party called on Rep. Baron Hill to apologize for labeling constituents who disagree with his stance on health care reform as “political terrorists.”
“This is the worst sort of slap in the face an elected official can give to his constituents,” said Indiana Republican Party chairman Murray Clark. “He definitely owes an apology to the people of the 9th congressional district.”
Hill told theWashington Post‘s Peter Slevin, “What I don’t want to do is create an opportunity for the people who are political terrorists to blow up the meeting and not try to answer thoughtful questions.”
“It’s one thing for Baron Hill to not schedule any public forums and to refuse to hear the public’s opinion on an issue,” said Clark. “It’s another level of disrespect entirely when he goes out of his way to call anyone who disagrees with him a ‘terrorist.’”
The Indiana Republican Party sees Hill’s comments as part of an orchestrated effort by national Democrats to quiet growing concerns about their health care reform legislation.
“Baron Hill is just following the marching orders he’s receiving from Washington,” said Clark. “The White House is calling anyone who disagrees with them ‘an angry mob’ and Nancy Pelosi says anyone who disagrees with her is ‘un-American.’ Baron Hill is just falling in line behind national Democrats. It’s sad to see him so easily discount the legitimate concerns of seniors, small business owners and Hoosiers from all walks of life.”
Obama, Pelosi and the rest of the democrats are whining about how unfair it is that conservatives have become a community of organized protestors. According to Pelosi, we’re nothing more than a bunch of “political terrorists” hellbent on stopping free speech.
So now according to one woman in this video, (who may have been a cop), talking to someone else is considered resisting arrest? Watching this video, but be warned it may make your blood boil.
Denver photojournalist El Marco was at the event and has an amazing pictorial essay detailing how Pelo-cchio’s Astroturf brigade had to be coached by professional organizers — including several day laborers who didn’t speak English and couldn’t tell what the signs they were holding read. And they accuse Tea Party folks of being puppets?
