The activity took place during Black History Month in 2009, which is recognized each February to honor the contributions of African Americans to our country. Our curriculum studies, honors and recognizes those who serve our country. The recording and distribution of the class activity were unauthorized.

Supposedly, the video was apparently recorded by Charisse Carney-Nunes. At any rate, it first appeared on her YouTube account and was scrubbed earlier this morning once it hit the blogs.

Michelle Malkin has emailed both Carney-Nunes and the principal of the school.

Did Ms. Carney-Nunes have permission to videotape the performance?

Were parents notified that their children would be participating in this activity prior to the lesson?

Was Ms. Carney-Nunes invited to the school to teach the children the song and about her book, “I am Barack Obama?”

Was the principal aware of this event and taping?

Back to Charisse Carney-Nunes. Via ModernConservative, Carney-Nunes is senior vice president of The Jamestown Project, “the award-winning author of the children’s books, I Am Barack Obama (2009),” and according to her biography, “a graduate of Harvard Law School, where she was a schoolmate of President Obama.” I have e-mailed Carney-Nunes for comment as well.

Charisse is the former president of Harvard’s Black Law Students Association of which Barack Obama was a member of in the 90s.

This is disturbing. It’s a video from an elementary school in Burlington, New Jersey filmed in June of this year. In the video, they’re teaching the children a song that’s right out of the Saul Alinsky playbook. Here’s one verse I find particularly disturbing.

One more thing. Remember earlier this week when Obama said his health care plan won’t cover illegal aliens?

Now he says:

“Even though I do not believe we can extend coverage to those who are here illegally, I also don’t simply believe we can simply ignore the fact that our immigration system is broken,” Mr. Obama said Wednesday evening in a speech to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. “That’s why I strongly support making sure folks who are here legally have access to affordable, quality health insurance under this plan, just like everybody else.

Mr. Obama added, “If anything, this debate underscores the necessity of passing comprehensive immigration reform and resolving the issue of 12 million undocumented people living and working in this country once and for all.”

Translation: he wants to give amnesty to the 12 million illegal aliens so they can not only get government provided healthcare, but also, so they can vote for him in 2012.

1. Purpose
The purpose of this Statement of Objectives (SOO) is to obtain the necessary services to ensure that content published by the Executive Office of the President (EOP) on publicly-accessible web sites is archived in accordance with the Presidential Records Act (PRA), that information posted on publicly-accessible web sites where the EOP maintains a presence is archived in accordance with the PRA, and that all archived information is securely stored and provided to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) for historical preservation, in accordance with the PRA.

Here’s where it gets juicy.

2. Scope
The contractor shall provide the necessary services to capture, store, extract to approved formats, and transfer content published by EOP on publicly-accessible web sites, along with information posted by non-EOP persons on publicly-accessible web sites where the EOP offices under PRA maintains a presence, throughout the term of the contract.

I suppose that means blogs would be searched, indexed and stored as well. But wait, there’s more! They’re already doing it.

4. Background
In order to comply with the Presidential Records Act, the White House New Media team is looking for a non personal service contractor to crawl and archive PRA content on all third party sites where the EOP has a presence (i.e. Facebook.com/whitehouse, Twitter.com/whitehouse). Currently, the Government team is capturing the data and content both programmatically (via Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) from social networks) and manually (through daily screen shots).

If you look back at Obama’s first days as President, he signed Executive Order 13489 [link: PDF] that states that only the records he chooses to be made public will be released. Now he wants to archive everything anyone has to say about him and his administration.

5. Performance Objectives

(G) Capture of comments and publicly-visible tags posted by users on publicly-accessible websites on which an EOP component subject to the PRA maintains a presence. Vendor must be able to either:

(i) Capture all comments posted to a list of websites provided to vendor; or
(ii) Capture a sample of comments posted to a list of websites provided to vendor, according to a sampling

(J) Ability for government employees to tag captures from publicly-accessible websites by arbitrary fields or tags such as office or issue (i.e. OVP or health care).

There is no requirement in the Presidential Records Act for the storage or archiving of non-EOP content. Obama doesn’t care.

The refusal by ABC and NBC to run a national ad critical of President Obama’s health care reform plan is raising questions from the group behind the spot — particularly in light of ABC’s health care special aired in prime time last June and hosted at the White House.

“The ABC Television Network has a long-standing policy that we do not sell time for advertising that presents a partisan position on a controversial public issue,” spokeswoman Susan Sewell said in a written statement. “Just to be clear, this is a policy for the entire network, not just ABC News.”

Dick Morris, a FOX News political analyst and the League of American Voters’ chief strategist, conceptualized the advertisement and said its purpose was to “refocus” the debate on health care reform.

“I feel the whole debate on health care reform needed to be refocused on the issue of Medicare,” he told FOXNews.com. “Most of the debate had been on issues of socialized medicine and cost. I felt that the impact of the legislation in cutting the Medicare program and enforcing rationing needed to be addressed.”

Morris, a onetime advisor to former President Bill Clinton, said he was particularly troubled by ABC’s decision not to air the spot.

“It’s the ultimate act of chutzpah because ABC is the network that turned itself over completely to Obama for a daylong propaganda fest about health care reform,” he said. “For them to be pious and say they will not accept advertising on health care shuts their viewers out from any possible understanding of both sides of this issue.”

He’s so right, and it’s a fine example of how the government cannot manage running a business.

The only way the post office can stay in business is its government subsidy. The USPS lost $2.4 billion in the quarter ended in June and projects a net loss of $7 billion in fiscal 2009, outstanding debt of more than $10 billion and a cash shortfall of $1 billion. It was moved to intensive care — the Government Accountability Office’s list of “high risk” cases – - last month and told to shape up. (It must be the only entity that hasn’t cashed in on TARP!)

When Obama compared the post office to UPS and FedEx, he was clearly hoping to assuage voter concerns about a public health-care option undercutting and eliminating private insurance.

What he did instead was conjure up visions of long lines and interminable waits. Why do we need or want a health-care system that works like the post office?

What’s more, if the USPS is struggling to compete with private companies, as Obama implied, why introduce a government health-care option that would operate at the same disadvantage?

What is capitalism?

On the flip side, Obama is dead-on when it comes to understanding how socialism works.

Socialism refers to various theories of economic organization advocating state, public or common worker (through cooperatives) ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, and a society characterized by equal access to resources for all individuals with an egalitarian method of compensation.

Funny how times have changed, or have they? Albert Einstein (an avowed socialist) wrote this in 1949.

Moreover, under existing conditions, private capitalists inevitably control, directly or indirectly, the main sources of information (press, radio, education). It is thus extremely difficult, and indeed in most cases quite impossible, for the individual citizen to come to objective conclusions and to make intelligent use of his political rights.

You still have GE/MSNBC and CNN. Speaking of CNN. Their own Larry King ran this clip last night showing Barney Frank laying the smack down on a woman at a town hall meeting who asked, “Why are you supporting this Nazi policy?” CNN conveniently left out the fact this wingnut is a Lyndon LaRouche Democrat.

The opposing group was lead by Joan Uebelhoer, a well-known abortion rights activist from Fort Wayne. A little about her from the book, “Feminists who changed America.”

Joan Uebelhoer has played many roles. In her own words: “I have been a teacher of mathematics, an elected official, a director of a Planned Parenthood Clinic, a director of a county Welfare Office. I still teach Women’s Studies at Indiana Purdue at Fort Wayne.

Physician seeks law for post-op

A local gynecologist has asked the Allen County Commissioners to consider a local law that could enhance follow-up care for surgery patients but could also affect a local abortion provider.

Regarding this case, Joan pretends to have beliefs and principles that fly in the face of her position a year later. It’s all liberal politics.

But a local pro-choice activist felt the proposal was a strange way to limit women’s choices locally. Joan Uebelhoer with the Fort Wayne Feminists said if there is a problem with patient safety in Allen County, the commissioners aren’t suited to fix it.

“I can’t believe that the commissioners would even get involved in such a thing. What is it their business, either legally or personally?” Uebelhoer said. “This is just another way to take woman’s decision-making abilities from her.”

Okay Joan. So you’re telling us if local government wants to enact legislation that affects healthcare, it’s not okay. You claim it’s just another way to take away their decision making capabilities. Yet, now that Obama wants to do the same thing to every citizen of this country, it’s okay?

Damn liberal lunatics.

White House appears ready to drop ‘public option’

So it looks like the so-called white-haired political terrorists and mobs are getting their point across. Read on.

WASHINGTON – Bowing to Republican pressure, President Barack Obama’s administration signaled on Sunday it is ready to abandon the idea of giving Americans the option of government-run insurance as part of a new health care system.

Facing mounting opposition to the overhaul, administration officials left open the chance for a compromise with Republicans that would include health insurance cooperatives instead of a government-run plan. Such a concession probably would enrage Obama’s liberal supporters but could deliver a much-needed victory on a top domestic priority opposed by GOP lawmakers.

It’s going to be fun watching the outrage.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said that government alternative to private health insurance is “not the essential element” of the administration’s health care overhaul. The White House would be open to co-ops, she said, a sign that Democrats want a compromise so they can declare a victory.

So, it’s not an essential element? What the hell has Obama, Pelosi and the rest of democrats been saying?

“The thinking on the public option has been that it gives consumers more choices and it helps keep the private sector honest, because there’s some competition out there,” Obama said.

June 11th, 2009

Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California said Wednesday that she supported that goal. “A bill will not come out of the House without a public option,” she said Wednesday on MSNBC.

And only two days ago, nutcase Howard Dean had this to say.

PITTSBURGH PA – “The only health care reform worth doing is the public option. If you give away the public option you have no health care reform. It is a real choice for the American people,” Governor Howard Dean told over 1,500 bloggers, journalists and activists here at the National Netroots conference.

In the end, all this ever boiled down to is they need to be able to say, “they won.”

Meanwhile over at Huffington Post one person commented, “Democrats are really good at stabbing Democrats in the back…”

On top of that, one can only guess how many dems are calling the white house and telling them there’s no way they’re going to commit political suicide by voting for this pile-o-garbage.
