Obama, Pelosi, Reid and company are all scheming for a way to shove one of their healthcare packages into law, no matter the outcome in tomorrow’s Massachusetts election.

If Republican Scott Brown defeats Democrat Martha Coakley in tomorrow’s special election to fill Teddy Kennedy’s seat, it would give the republican’s the ability to stop any further action on the bill in the Senate. Here’s the options the White House and dems are weighing.

- The White House will work with congressional negotiators, (read:democrats) and try to reconcile the House and Senate bills and pass a new version before Brown takes office. That’s not likely. Under Massachusetts law, should he win, he becomes a senator tomorrow at midnight.

- They’ll try get RINO Senator Olympia Snowe to cast the 60th Senate vote. Good luck with that.

- Or, they’ll go back to square one and pass a scaled down version using budget reconciliation. That only requires a simple majority of 51 Senate votes.

It’s anyone’s guess as to what they may do, but White House aides are scrambling to research all of the above options. Pelosi doesn’t want anything to do with the senate version, since it will immediately start taxing the fat and juicy healthcare plans of union members.

As of yesterday, Scott Brown leads Martha Coakley 51-46 in a Public Policy Polling.

It’s going to be fun watching this unfold over next couple of days.

It’s a meeting held by the Gamaliel Foundation which has direct ties to Obama during his years as a community organizer and Illinois Senator. The video is after the leap.

Gamaliel’s has ties to ACORN and the Woods Fund, and it’s a tangled web. Obama was initially an advisor to Woods Fund, later becoming a board member and eventually, board chairman. He was instrumental in expanding the Woods Fund’s financial support for Gamaliel and ACORN. Another member of Woods Fund at the time was Palestinian activist Rashid Khalidi, a former spokesman for Yasser Arafat. Khalidi and Obama became close, to the point Obama would spend time at their home enjoying meals cooked by Khalidi’s wife, Mona.

For those short of memory, nine years ago this month Arafat launched the Oslo War, or Second Intifada against Israel which killed more than 1,000 Jews. It’s no wonder that Obama feels he can dictate terms to Israel, given the mentoring he obviously received from Khalidi.

Another Woods Fund board member during this time was the murderous terrorist Bill Ayers. I’m just saying..

During Obama’s time on the Woods Funds board, ACORN received grants totaling $190,000 from 2000 – 2002. Many other groups received grants and in turn, donated to Obama’s eventual senate campaign.

Gamaliel and ACORN both practice black-liberation theology, not unlike Obama’s minister, Reverend Wright. Another ideology of Gamaliel is economic wealth redistribution and government healthcare.

They haven’t forgotten who their Messiah is, as you’ll see at the bottom of this post.

Supposedly, the video was apparently recorded by Charisse Carney-Nunes. At any rate, it first appeared on her YouTube account and was scrubbed earlier this morning once it hit the blogs.

Michelle Malkin has emailed both Carney-Nunes and the principal of the school.

This is disturbing. It’s a video from an elementary school in Burlington, New Jersey filmed in June of this year. In the video, they’re teaching the children a song that’s right out of the Saul Alinsky playbook. Here’s one verse I find particularly disturbing.

Jeremy Zilber is a left-wing loon that seems to think he can sell books for children to further the liberal cause. I have no issue with his left-wing beliefs, but aiming political propaganda at small children is bullshit.

What’s ironic not surprising is that the “Dr.” Jeremy Zilber is a professor who has taught political science at Lawrence University, in the Midwest’s bastion of fruits and nuts. He’s also taught American politics at Williams and Mary College, and Political Science at Yeshiva University. Can you imagine the crap this guy is pumping into those young skulls full of mush?

Jeremy is the author of three books, Why Mommy is a Democrat, Why Daddy is a Democrat in 2007 and Mama Voted for Obama. Here’s a screen shot from his first book, “Why Mommy is a Democrat Dumbass”. It really speaks for itself, if not the Obama way.

There’s no hidden message here. It’s simple. If you won’t share your hard earned dollars with everyone else, we’ll make sure you do.

He even takes the time to tell children that republicans are defeatist.

Well miss Tvaroh, where the hell are your facts. 44,000? That’s an indeterminable number, as most experts would tell you. Let’s take a look.

In other words, the study was bullshit. Where she comes up with 44,000 is beyond me. No wait, she just pulled it out of her ass.

2). Health savings accounts benefit only those wealthy enough to afford them, and then they’re used as a tax-free retirement fund in many cases.

From my personal experience of subscribing with a Health Care Savings Account for close to four years, she’s once again either lying, ignorant, or a little of both. HSA’s force you to manage your healthcare. You pay reduced rates for ALL services, and your premiums are lower. I could go into more detail but it would bore you. 3). On what grounds do you claim that Americans don’t have a right to health care?

Honey, just point me to where, in the constitution it says you have a right to healthcare and I’ll shut-up.

4). The insurers’ profits are not used for innovation..

The fact is, drug and insurance companies investment in research contributes 97% of new medical break throughs.

5). The people who provide the society with health-giving innovations should be adequately, not richly rewarded.

That’s right, bring on the socialism and let’s tell people how much money they can earn. While we’re at it, let’s tell them what job they’re going to perform, and when and where as well.

Your front-page editorial on health care profit was interesting, and puzzling. The health care systems in Canada and Great Britain are not imploding, it’s our “system” that is collapsing, and taking the country’s economy down with it.

As for government and private charity “smoothing out the cracks” that people are falling into in droves – what planet do you and Mr. Souder live on? At least 44,000 people died this past year because they lacked access to health care. That’s not a crack, that’s an abyss. And, the situation is getting worse as what health insurance some people have is disappearing along with jobs. COBRA is unaffordable for most people, and is of limited duration, so the jobless are just out of luck. Health savings accounts benefit only those wealthy enough to afford them, and then they’re used as a tax-free retirement fund in many cases. Portability doesn’t cover going from a job to no job.

On what grounds do you claim that Americans don’t have a right to health care? This is a moral question, a human right, and as such, should not be denied, even more so by someone who professes to be “pro-life”. As for rationing of care, government-run programs in other countries don’t do this (e.g., Stephen Hawking in the U.K.), why should the United States? Our care is severely rationed now by the insurance industry which competes not on the basis of service or quality of care, but for profits. This competition for profits, does nothing to promote a healthy society, just a handful of healthy CEO bank accounts and a tremendous amount of waste and corruption; competition for profits actually drives the costs up, not down. These corporations are not earning an “honest profit”, and their concentration on the bottom line is killing people, causing bankruptcies, and adding fear of huge debt to the misery of those already suffering from serious illness. The insurers’ profits are not used for innovation, other than finding ways to deny people coverage and rescinding coverage. The people who provide the society with health-giving innovations should be adequately, not richly rewarded.

The free-market system to which you are so attached has just caused this country’s economy to crash. It’s well past time to try another direction.

The Senate Finance Committee is suggesting a “fat tax” on sugary drinks, i.e. soda pop. What the hell is happening to personal choice in this country? Do we need Obama and the liberal democrats telling us what we can or cannot put into our bodies?

CDC Chief: Soda Tax Could Combat Obesity

While Democrats await the results of bipartisan negotiations over health care reform in the Senate Finance Committee, one of the proposals put before the committee received a nod of approval from health officials today: taxing soda. [Story here]

Personally, I’m lucky to drink one or two sodas a year. If I hit the A&W Root Beer Stand, I cannot have a dog without a frosty mug of Root Beer. That’s my choice. Hear me? It’s MY CHOICE.

If the people in congress think we’re too stupid to make decisions regarding our consumption of certain foods and beverages, what’s next? They’re already dictating what kind of cars can be manufactured, what kind of lighbulbs you can burn in your home, and soon, how large your carbon footprint can be. Oh, and don’t even get me started on this bullshit healthcare bill(s).

I guess we’re all just too FSCKING STOOPID to know how to live our lives. Since they can’t outlaw cigarettes, liquor, trans-fats, sugar and a myriad of other consumables, they’re hell-bent on taxing them out of existence. Go ahead, do it. And in the end, it will cost jobs.

As a young lad growing up in the 1960′s I remember waiting for the fat-laden ice cream truck to come down the street every day during the summer. I’m sure that is on their radar as well.

I’m longing for the days when JFK was president. Really, I am.

Reason #17 Why I am Glad I Voted for Obama

When he says something that, let’s face it, didn’t exactly contribute to positive national discourse (and who among us hasn’t said something that they would just as soon retract), he talks to the guy he said it about and then tells the nation what he did and why he thinks his choice of words was poor.

They guy stuck his foot in his mouth and took this right out of the Billy Clinton political playbook. The only reason he did the aforementioned is the press had a field day with him. He called the cops stupid. Now what he’s saying is this, (Fluhr translation):

“I’m sorry that some of you people were too stupid to understand what I stupidly said about the Cambridge police acting ‘stupidly.”

Now he’s trying to turn it into a media event by inviting Gates and and Sergeant Crowley to the White House while stating “I continue to believe that there was an overreaction in pulling professor Gates out of his home and to the station.” The guy can talk out of both sides of his mouth, and his innocent ignorant lambs sheeple believe every word, as if he’s the prince of peace.

Kiss my ass, that’s not an apology.

Obama’s states the U.S. government will be more qualified to make these decisions “for you.” Not your doctor, the government. Just give the kid a damn pill and send him home. We don’t really care that he has strep throat, (streptococcal pharyngitis), that may lead to scarlet fever, or septic shock and multi-organ failure. Let’s wait and see what happens after they take this little red or blue pill.

The fact is, while not considered an emergency procedure, tonsillectomies are a proven method of curing recurring strep throat. According to the Mayo Clinic, “If a child has recurring strep throat — six or more positive strep cultures in one year — tonsillectomy may be considered.”

A 2006 Mayo Clinic study looked at the benefit of tonsillectomy in 290 children with recurring strep throat. Researchers reported that children who still had their tonsils were more than three times as likely to develop subsequent episodes of strep throat as were children who’d had their tonsils removed.

I know what I’m talking about. I got strep several time a year as a young child, and it was a painful experience. I sure as hell would not want the government deciding if I needed the operation. And can you imagine the months it would take to get a decision?

Obama:

“Right now, doctors a lot of times are forced to make decisions based on the fee payment schedule that’s out there. … The doctor may look at the reimbursement system and say to himself, ‘You know what? I make a lot more money if I take this kid’s tonsils out,’” Obama told a prime-time news conference. The president added: “Now, that may be the right thing to do, but I’d rather have that doctor making those decisions just based on whether you really need your kid’s tonsils out or whether it might make more sense just to change; maybe they have allergies. Maybe they have something else that would make a difference.”

This guy talks out his rear-end and thankfully, the American public is starting to recognize that.

Strep throat is caused by group A streptococcal bacteria, Streptococcus pyogenes. The organisms are transmitted from one infected person to another. In the laboratory, these bacteria are grown on blood agar where they cause a clear halo around the colonies due to the damage to the red blood cells.

Sorry Obama, strep is the major reason for performing a tonsillectomy, and it doesn’t have anything to do with allergies.

He was an AWOL as an Illinois Senator with NO experience, and now he’s acting like the surgeon general.

What a joke.

Health care quandary

Q. The nation’s best course of action on the Obama health care plan is:

A. Take advantage of the momentum and President Obama’s political good will – still riding high from the election – and adopt the plan as soon as possible.

B. Kill the Obama plan. It is too much, too soon and goes too far toward socialized medicine.

C. Let the political system take its course. Already, some moderate Democrats are seeking modifications. Even though Democrats control the presidency and both houses of Congress, negotiations and compromise will lead to an acceptable – if imperfect – plan.

D. How should I know? I am too busy trying to make ends meet and keep my family healthy to study the nuances of a plan I have no control over.

Most Americans, we suspect, would honestly answer “D.” The enormity of the Obama plan is almost overwhelming for an average citizen.

It’s called the internet, stupid. The JG fails to provide any real information because the majority of the liberal mainstream media refuse to publish it.

But the simple reality is that Obama has a specific plan with a method of financing, while the alternative is … well, there is no other single, specific plan to consider. And with the health care system’s inefficiencies and high costs that still leave tens of millions of uninsured Americans – the two sides even fight over how many – something must be done.

So “Obamacare” – the term conservative critics use to deride the president’s plan – is the only game in town, and that is the fault of the Republican opposition, which has utterly failed to address an issue important to the vast majority of the nation.

Critics have focused much of their message on trying to slow down the process.

Slow down the process? Obama took 6 months to pick out a dog, and he’s trying to cram his ridiculous program down our throats in two week? Most legislators haven’t even had time to read the 1,000+ page proposal.

More importantly, candidate Obama had clear proposals on health care, an issue that was one of the few he and Hillary Rodham Clinton debated in intricate detail during the primaries. Americans knew Obama’s health care agenda when they elected him – by a convincing margin. His plan largely coincides with his campaign platform.

Big effn deal. Just because he campaigned on healthcare reform, doesn’t mean it’s the right reform package. The JG has proven that they’re either to lazy, too stupid, or just so in the sack over Obama that all they can offer is a partisan opinion without offering anything substantive to back it up. Let’s take a look at some of the facts surrounding Obama’s proposed healthcare overhaul, courtesy of Little Green Footballs.
