“Calling someone a liar is a strong charge,” said Walorski campaign manager Matt Kirby. “If Congressman Donnelly disagrees with our assertion that his vote for Obamacare cuts $500 billion from Medicare, then we challenge him to disprove that fact. If he can’t disprove it, we call on him to take the ad down.”

“Since Congressman Donnelly voted for the health care bill seven months ago, he hasn’t conducted a single town hall, hasn’t participated in a single debate, or even shown up for a single candidate forum,” said Kirby. “Whether you support the bill or not, everyone can agree that Obamacare was one of the most significant and far-reaching pieces of legislation in our lifetime and a sitting Congressman owes it to his constituents to explain his vote. What voters in the 2nd District have gotten instead is an MIA Congressman who has resorted to name calling because he can’t defend his record.”
