I was sent a must read this morning written by Thomas Sowell, a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. Rather than post bits and pieces here, jump over to his web site, it’s worth the read.

Nick Buis, State Organizer and Alison Griffin, Regional Organizer for Organizing for America are leading the charge, (read; ACORN) and will be in town on Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. at Brevin’s Restaurant in Churubusco.

Show them what you think, and make your way to the sidewalk outside Brevin’s restaurant in a peaceful protest. Better yet, Brevin’s has very good food, show up at 6:00 and let’s pack the place.

This is the same man who endorsed the statement that President Bush “gave troops permission to go down (to New Orleans) and shoot us (black people)” after Katrina. He is now at the highest levels of power, and is targeting Glenn Beck for exposing his true agenda.

It should also be noted that Van Jones is also a 9/11 truther, (defined here). He thinks 9/11 was an inside job. So dear readers, if you voted for that other asshole, this is what you’re getting.

And more. It seems the White House has an RFQ (request for quote), that calls for the harvesting of personal information on millions of Americans from social networking websites. The sites include Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, YouTube, Flickr and others – any space where the White House “maintains a presence.”

Ted Kennedy is dead. His seat is empty. Now the fight begins.

In 2004, the state’s Democrat-controlled legislature changed the law to prevent the governor from appointing an interim successor after a U.S. Senate seat becomes vacant. Instead, the new law requires that a special election be held between 145 and 165 days after the position becomes vacant.

Patterico reports an exchange between Roxana Mayer via her University of Houston e-mail address where she admits she’s a liar. Mayer appeared at Sheila Jackson Lee’s town hall meeting and as you’ll see in the video below, she claimed she was a general practitioner.

Read his post, it also shows how the mainstream media doesn’t fact check. In this case it was the Houston Chronicle. Also check out the Lone Star Times on how they uncovered the truth as well as a Che Guevara connection.

In most states it’s illegal to represent yourself as a doctor if you don’t have a license to practice. Then again, maybe it’s just okay for the democrats to play doctor?
