Think about Communism for a moment. The reason it was short-lived, was due to the fact they had to force people to embrace it, and partake in actually having their liberties and privileges taken away. If they didn’t, they were forced to participate, and that involved handcuffs, prison, etc.

So Obama won the Nobel Peace Price. Big effn deal. So did Jimmy Carter, Yasir Arafat and Al Gore. It’s more of a fsck Bush gesture than anything. The Nobel Peace Prize used to be awarded based on “achievement.” Now it’s based on that HopeNchange bullshit.

I bet if Obama ran for Miss America, he’d win that too.

It’s a meaningless gesture by a bunch of liberals.

Now that Chicago’s lost the -O-lympic bid and he’s made a complete ass out of himself, it’s time for Obama to get to work. I can already hear Oprah’s moaning and crying.

UPDATE: It looks like the Obama 2016 Olympic Gangsta Games won’t happen. From Politico:

In a stunning development, Chicago was the first city eliminated on Friday in IOC voting to be host city for the 2016 Summer Olympics.

The decision is personal setback that is sure to haunt Obama on the homefront. The president on Friday morning promised members of the International Olympic Committee that if they award the 2016 Summer Olympics to his adopted hometown “the city of Chicago and the United States of America will make the world proud.”

As a friend of mine put it.

At some point here soon, Obama’s giant ego is going to come crashing down and they’re going to find him curled up in a ball under the desk in the Oval Office, rocking back and forth screaming for somebody to “Make it stop!”
