Tracywarner I think Tracy Warner Blogs just so he’ll have content out there, no matter how irrelevant.

His call for everyone to learn English was clearly a move to please the right. But at the same time, Bush did not engage in the anti-immigrant rhetoric that much of his base has been spouting.

So Mr. Warner, what you’re saying is that the left thinks it’s alright for the immigrants (illegal or otherwise) to come to this country and not assimilate into our culture? Maybe you should read what it takes to become an American Citizen; you have to be able to not only read and write English, you have to be able to speak it.

Last night’s speech may have been the pinnacle of the Bush presidency. Sincerity seemed to replace his usual smirk. Unlike so many other of his speeches, Bush seemed to really mean what he was saying.

It’s too bad he didn’t give that speech five years ago, before 9/11, or even four years ago, when he still maintained credibility and the support of much of the nation.

Call me slow.. What the hell does 911 have to with immigrants?

Fire Damages Carroll High School Property

(Fort Wayne – WANE) Fire broke out at Carroll High School Sunday morning just before 3a.m. One fire destroyed a utility shed, another started in a garbage can outside the school and the third was in a dumpster at nearby Hickory Creek Center Elementary School.  By the times firefighters arrived on the scene, the flames had swallowed up a maintenance shed, which housed a truck, at least two tractors, and other maintenance equipment.  Huntertown firefighter Brad Hite says when they arrived on the scene the priority was to protect the high school building, which was only 75 feet from the shed fire.

Okay, I was just kidding about the Fraser headline, but I’m LMAO.

Asskisser In Bitchey Rich’s latest post on the Fort Wayne Sleezer (I only call it that because RRR is there, I like Mike’s stuff).. RRR has taken an about face and kissed the ass of just about everyone that matters. I would assume that with his influence down to well below zero, he’s dishing out these favors to get them to dig dirt on their fellow journalist buddies. I’m not going to post any of his bullshit ramblings here, but if you want to take a look a failing former power broker’s crapola, go here.

Well, kind of. This much I do know, he/she lives in Virginia close to Ashburn, VA or maybe in it. Ashburn is 30 miles from D.C. The National Park Service is located there, maybe they work there? Then again, Mitch Harper and Tammie Bonds of Ashburn, VA are both listed in Running Times. Go to this link and look around: http://tinyurl.com/nusrw

I tracerouted their IP address from a comment posting, hehehe. See below:

Tracy, where the hell did you come up with this?

Manic Monday

Three big politically oriented events are all scheduled for Monday evening.

The City Council will meet with first with the county commissioners at 5:30 p.m., then with the county council in the City-County Building to talk government consolidation. At 7 p.m., the Northside Neighborhood Association is holding a candidates’ forum, and yet another candidate forum is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Grabill.

This may force several people to decide which event to attend, not the least of whom are county commissioners Linda Buskirk and Marla Irving, and county councilman Roy Buskirk, who is running against Bloom.

Gee Linda, I don’t remember you running for that seat, much less winning it.

Towel_1

Boy-Jeff thows in the towel..

As of today I will no longer be updating this blog. It has been up for almost 8 weeks and thank you for making it a success. Hundreds of individuals visited daily. If you are interested in taking over this site, let me know. Otherwise, it will remain unupdated.

We can all now breath a sign of relief. I would suspect a certain chairman may have had a talk with the boy.

Hey Rich and Boy-Fraser, here’s an interesting news tidbit for you. Maybe if you do file suit I can get the ACLU to give me a free legal team. It’s kinda a reverse situation, but heh..

From Edge Boston

Citing First Amendment protection for parodies, the American Civil Liberties Union has come to the defense of a California man who received a cease-and-desist letter after posting a parody of a billboard advertisement for so-called "reparative therapy" on his website.

"The moment I saw the billboards last September, I was deeply offended. The inspiration for the parody I created came to me instantly. How would straight people feel if their very being, their sense of self was being so overtly disparaged?" said Justin Watt, a blogger from Santa Rosa, California. "Their response was to try to intimidate me into taking the image down. It’s troubling that an organization as big as Exodus would go to such great lengths to silence its critics."

Rrrbillboards The billboard, sponsored by "ex-gay" ministry Exodus International, read, "Gay? Unhappy? www.exodus.to." After seeing a photo of the billboards online, Watt posted an altered version reading, "Straight? Unhappy? www.gay.com" on his website, Justinsomnia.org. Liberty Counsel, an anti-gay legal group representing Exodus, sent Watt a cease-and-desist letter earlier this month claiming the parody violated Exodus’s intellectual property rights and threatening legal action if the parodies were not removed.
