The Indiana Federation of College Republicans yearly convention is approaching and Congressman Marlin Stutzman has made his pick for who he wants to lead it: Nick Barbknecht. Congressman Stutzman sees promise and strong work ethic in the Founder and Chairman of the Manchester College Republicans.

“Because of individuals like Nick Barbknecht the future remains bright for Indiana and our Republican Party. As Chairman, Nick would be a strong asset to the Indiana Federation of College Republicans.” – Congressman Marlin A. Stutzman

Stutzman joins Valparaiso Mayor Jon Costas, 9 Indiana College Republican chapter chairmen, and several Hoosier Republican leaders in his endorsement. Republicans killed the bill and now the Dumbocrats say it isn’t enough to get them back to the Statehouse, and they’re going to stay in their own sandbox and won’t return to the Indiana until Governor Daniels and House Speaker Brian Bosma assure them they won’t bring back four other labor measures and six education bills.

Bunch of pansies pussies.

Senate lawmakers voted in favor of a resolution crafted by State Sen. Jim Banks (R-Columbia City) seeking an amendment to Indiana’s Constitution protecting secret ballot rights of workers in unionization votes.

Senate Joint Resolution 10 passed the Senate 32-16 and now moves to the House of Representatives for further consideration.73069004web

“This resolution is a proposal to amend Indiana’s Constitution to help guarantee the right to use secret ballots on all unionization votes,” Banks said. “I am grateful for the bipartisan support this resolution has received and I look forward to working with members of the House of Representatives.”

Adams County Superior Court (corrected) will have a hearing regarding the Ellenberger -v- Ivan Hood case on February 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Hood was served, but his partner Dave Washington appears to be AWOL.
