This event is organized by a group, which has the slogan, “Polygamy the Next Civil Rights Battle.” They celebrate the gains made each year, mostly by homosexual demands groups, in the unraveling of marriage in the United States in hope of legalizing polygamy in the US. In a poll conducted by American Viewpoint of 400 likely voters in the 3rd Congressional District from July 19-20, 2010, Stutzman holds nearly a two-to-one lead over Democrat Thomas Hayhurst, 56% – 29%.

Give it up Tommy-boy.

There has been reports of push-polling in Indiana’s 2nd congressional last night. The caller asked if the person planned on voting for Joe Donnelly, and if not, why. Then they were asked if they would vote for Jackie Walorski. If they answered yes, they were told lots of negative information about Jackie, calling here an “ultra conservative” and that she supported the toll road “give-away,” a lie. It wasn’t given away. They then asked if they would still vote for her. That’s standard push-polling, bar none. But it gets more interesting then that.

New York University Study Won’t Go Over Well with the Far Left

Yesterday, Dr. Patrick Egan with the Department of Politics at New York University released a study covering a decade of research on political polling on homosexual marriage efforts. A scientific look at 33 state ballot initiatives since 1998 reveals that the homosexual demands groups are not making any headway convincing Americans that two men equal a mom and a dad.

Tom Hayhurst released a statement regarding Marlin Stutzman’s win in the 3rd district congressional caucus yesterday.

Congratulations to state Senator Marlin Stutzman on his nomination by Republican Party leaders. I look forward to an honest debate and spirited campaign focused on the issues.

The caucus was an interesting process. I’m glad it’s over, but we’ll have another within a few weeks to replace Matt Bell who is now officially off the ballot for state rep. in district 83 .

While at the caucus today I was told something about one of the candidates, Ryan Elijah, and decided to ask Ryan personally if it was true.

Thonert and Wright apparently left the caucus without ‘signing off’ to replace Souder on the November Ballot.

AWB reports from the 3rd District Congressional Caucus in Columbia City:

Precinct Committeeman Dave Dupee, from Allen County, made a motion to have the same candidate be nominated in the voting for both the Special Election and General Election. They are currently in recess and are discussing rules.

Motion was withdrawn.

Voting may start in half an hour or so.
