Starting at 12 noon at the Scottish Rite auditorium on Saturday, January 29 (this coming Saturday) pro-lifers of NorthEast Indiana will hold their 37th annual pro-life rally and march.

Headlining is Rev. John J. Raphael, SSJ, a man of renown from down Louisiana way. This great priest (pictured below) does not hold his punches, instead landing them, blow after blow, directly on the culture of death. Want to see for yourself? Updating our post from 4:53 p.m.

We learned earlier today that House District 84 representative Randy Borror will tender his resignation to the house speaker tomorrow morning, and will also be resigning from Star Financial. Borror is taking a position with Bose Public Affairs Group and will head up a new Fort Wayne office for the firm.

House district 84 covers most of Saint Joe Township in Allen County and the surrounding areas.

With the new Ethics Reform HB 1001 that went into effect July 1st, Borror will be prohibited from lobbying the general assembly for one year. The law places a one-year cooling off period before state elected officials and executive branch employees can register as lobbyists.

It’s going to be interesting to see how many individuals from his district file to run in the caucus. I will take a guess later, with a poll I will post on the site.
