At the beginning of the week, I had two Taviano for Sheriff signs and a Hayhurst for Congress sign in my front yard. Within an hour of putting up the two signs closest to the road, one of the Taviano signs had been knocked over and the Hayhurst sign was M.I.A.
This afternoon, I received an e-mail from Maria Parra, former congressional candidate and currently candidate for Wayne Township advisery board. She informed me that several of her signs, along with signs for Wayne Township Assessor candidate Bev Zuber, have either gone missing or been knocked down.
[... If anyone reading this is responsible for taking down signs, "STOP IT!" On the other hand, if you see anyone removing, defacing, or knocking over political yard signs, report them to the police. I don't care if they're knocking over signs from Democrats or Republicans, REPORT THEM!

Keep in mind, if the Democrats would simply let us build more refineries and tap the natural resources we have, we wouldn’t be in this mess.
Help Working Families: Raise the minimum wage; repeal tax giveaways that encourage companies to move jobs overseas.

A visit to the DCCC’s web site (for those of you in River Haven that’s The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee), turned up this little bit of info. The have a section they call "Red-to-Blue" and you can donate to individual Dem’s campaigns. It states:
The Red to Blue program is designed to provide financial and structural aid to the strongest Democratic candidates across the country.
On another section of the DCCC web site they have what they call Emerging Races. They state this:
The DCCC Emerging Races list is made up of candidates who have taken traditionally non-competitive districts and, through the strength of their campaigns, put themselves in a position to win in November. Red to Blue and Emerging candidates all represent the new direction that American voters are searching for and all have pledged to put the priorities of middle class families first when they get to Washington.
They also don’t think he’s put himself in a position to win.
