And Lugar skates… Cronyism at its best. You get to choose winners and losers if you've made it to the good o'l boy club. The hypocrisy is stunning in this. The good thing, is Hoosiers have had a font row seat to watch it all unfold and they are mad enough to do something about it at the ballot box.

  2. JBloom says:

BS,Lugar is covered by the service to the state law and White is not …Paul K. Ogden Ha Ha Ha ha Ha!!!!!!!! II will be voting for Lugar never thought I would but your group of lack of charterer has convinced me.

  3. Brad says:

manboy, Charlie was the establishment. Thats how he got the nod to run for SOS.He was a very powerful person in Indiana poetics…was

He played the ultimate crony game..and lost.

  4. Charlie White says:

    Brad,

I was the establishment? You have no idea what you are talking about. Do you know the cronies I took on my own party over the years for the public good. I didn't get a nod from anyone in the establishment until after the filing deadlines closed. Who gave me a nod Brad? What "ultimate crony game" did I play? Please back up your assertions with fact, because I have plenty of hard facts that no one wants to face so please I am awaiting an education.

Richard Lugar can remain on the primary ballot.

The Election Commission unanimously voted to keep the U.S. senator on the ballot after his residency was challenged.

Challengers said the fact that Lugar is using the address of a home he sold in 1977 is unconstitional. They said the senator has been living in Virgina for more than 30 years.

Eelection commissioners cited a provision in the Indiana Constitution which freezes a senator's residency once her she is elected into office.

Let it go.He also meets federal law then.

  6. JBloom says:

Mr.White did Murdocks campain put you on to the ideal that Lugar and Daniles were breaking the same law you were charged with.If so I would have to say Murdock played evryone and left you to hang.

  7. Ransom says:

I hope the current residents of the Lugar house plant a Murdock sign in their front yard.

  8. Jim Howard says:

Mr. White there is a term in the law called proportionality. The punishment should fairly fit the crime. In this case there is no proportionality, no justice, no fairness. The administration of justice is disproportionate. You have been lobbed a hardball where others (not just Lugar and/or Daniels but many others) have been pardoned for their administrative errors. A witch-hunt would be an understatement. This whole matter is patently unfair, excessive and looks a heck of a lot like communist China. I will be praying for you and your family.

  9. Ransom says:

Jim you are ever a courageous voice for the politically persecuted. You are earning yourself a well deserved bunk when the NDAA fully kicks in (along with lots of doors).

  10. Ransom says:

Mr. White, I would be most interested in learning more about the deeper story on your disproportional treatment. I have been ordered to not seek admission to the Indiana bar for five years — the statute allows 2. Pedophiles and perjurers have been sentenced to stay away orders of one. I was denied admission and given five years, for, one could fairly deduce from the official transcript, refusing to burn incense before the Naked Emporer.

Please contact me …. I am a political dissent interested in helping the populace of Indiana realize that the ruling junta in Indy is not calibrating their compass with justice as true north.

  11. Charlie White says:

No. Believe it or not the Mourdock campaign has never contacted me about anything, although I do get asked a lot about Lugar and have commented on it since his controversy came up. I have not really looked at the recent legal arguments at the election commission meeting. As to any issues related to Mitch, et al, those are different issues and a long story that has nothing to do with the Mourdock campaign that you would probably rather not hear.

  12. Jim Sack says:

Mr. White lied to protect his income and position and lost far more.

  13. Gadsen says:

WOW Jim Sack, Mr White is the only politician to lie???? I bet there are several in the new city palace that have lied too. My belief is that you have to be in that "good ole boys" network to keep from being prosecuted for your lies & misdeeds and that's both parties.

  14. Jim Howard says:

Mr. White committed an outrageous act of dishonor and should be summarily executed for his atrocious malfeasance and total disregard for the common good of the people. A public executiion is in order, thus saith the Lord. The shining City on the hill can not be tarnished anymore by these egregious acts. Come Sir Lancelot and let us defend fair Camelot.

  15. Ransom says:

Absolutely! We have to make examples of the unconnected, since the connected are untouchable. Consider this by way of example: http://www.in.gov/judiciary/opinions/pdf/11210801…

No doubt the liar in the above factpattern was a well connected big firm attorney. Notice his name is left unsaid and his discipline the lightest possible. What did he do? Cause an unrepresented person to appear for legal process — three subpoenaes — that were intentionally fraudulent! Yes, he lied, misrepresenting himself as a judge, to win a case …. and gets off with less than a slap on the wrist.

Hoosier Justice. A banana republic would blush.

  16. Jim Sack says:

Gadsden, you are certainly correct, but I chose only to comment on Mr. White.

  17. Jim Howard says:

Ransom you speak of those of blue blood who by far possess the higher ground. There acts are not egregious because, weighed in the balance, they contribute so "much" to our society. Why to treat these noble contributors as mere peasants would be an atrocity and not serve Camelot well. I for one look forward to the great society such well clad noblemen have in store for all of us, the uneducated masses. It will be a treat to behold. Where is the ground that they walk upon so I may kiss it?

  18. Ransom says:

James, yes, I am given to forgetting my low station in life and not bowing down to kiss the Royal Arses. I would break into song at this point, but I cannot top Rich Mullens and so I will just ask all to point their browsers here and listen to the Word from other one of the great unwashed, the late and great Rich:

Dedicated to the ruling juntas in DC, Indy and all across this once great land.
