In Indiana, those employed in a Union Shop that are members of a union only represents 10.9% of the total workforce. Of those represented by a union, but are not members, (but are forced to pay dues), 2.3% of the total workforce.
That’s 34,000 non-union workers being forced to pay union dues against their will. All the unions care about is the estimated $1.4 million dollar loss in dues.

I am surprised the Occupy losers aka the liberal militia didn't try to cause any shenanigans.
Someone needs to ask Henry what he thinks about the president of the AFI-CIO being a card carring Communist. Is Henry another Democrat who thinks the Consitution is "old fashion and out dated"?
The great American car company known as General Motors officially became a communist company back in 1997 by establishing Shanghai GM, a 50/50 partnership between GM and the Peoples Republic of China. By owning 26.5 percent of GM, the United States Department of the Treasury (i.e. the U.S. executive branch of federal government) is officially a communist institution.
Every public library in the United States is a community-owned and regulated entity. That is the very definition of communism.
Anyone who does not recognize Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare as socialist endeavors knows not the meaning of the word 'socialism.'
A corporate-controlled government is the inevitability of capitalism. Capitalists use their wealth to buy government favors and influence by purchasing politicians through campaign contributions and lobbyist efforts. This marriage of corporate and government power is called fascism.
The people of these United States of American largely do not know the definitions of the words "communism," "socialism," "capitalism" and "fascism."
The federal government of the corporation known as THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA practices capitalism, communism, imperialism and socialism. The masses have no idea.
I do not have a problem with how our libarays are run. What really scares the hell out of me is having our first Marxist President who tries to skate around the consitution if not just ignore it.Can you imagine what our country would look like if the Democrats still controlled both houses.
Most people don't mind how our libraries are run because most people really don't mind communism. They simply do not know the definition of the word 'communism.'
All U.S. governments — federal, state and local — practice a mix of communism, socialism, imperialism and fascism. Most people appreciate libraries, which means most people appreciate communist establishments. Without communist China labor standards, most Americans would not be able to afford buying computers, video-game consoles, smart phones, iPads, wooden spoons, flatware, furniture, power tools, baby formula ….
For those who despise any and all communism, don't worry about those criminal file-sharing public libraries. The revised SOPA-PIPA will provide the power to shutter those government-sponsored intellectual pirates. Until then, the multinational Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) can be applied to U.S. libraries just like it was applied to Megaupload in New Zealand. Just don't ask about the details within ACTA. W. Bush and Obama have deemed the sharing of such information with Americans as a "national security risk."
Government officials who identify themselves as Democrat or Republican have no regard for the Constitution. Among the Republican presidential candidates, only Ron Paul voices respect for the Constitution while right-wing media pundits call him "dangerously insane." Paul does not want this financially bankrupt nation to war with Iran, partly because U.S. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta (former C.I.A. head) tells CBS News that Iran is NOT developing a nuclear weapon. Apparently that makes Ron Paul the crazy-old-uncle isolationist while blood-thirsty Roman Catholic Rick Santorum seemingly cannot drink enough blood at those Sunday church services.
It seems strange that those who love the corporate union known as THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA cannot stand the idea of workers (i.e., people) creating unions for the purpose of collective bargaining for decent working standards and fare wages. It should come as no surprise to anyone that labor unions largely support Democrat political candidates when Republican politicians try their best to break labor unions.
Governor Mitch Daniels — who contributed to the U.S. government national debt as George W. Bush's director of the Office of Management and Budget — knows that so-called Right to Work legislation will have the effect of breaking labor unions. He supports such legislation because his corporate handlers hate the idea of people uniting to empower themselves. Workers with rights cost too much.
Labor unions will never achieve perfection as they consist of hierarchies of men. The UAW Trust Fund still owns big chunks of Italian automaker Chrysler and Government Motors (formerly General Motors). The ownership deals demand that the UAW cannot strike. The no-strike rule means auto workers have no means of voicing dissent. The UAW has castrated itself.
As the auto unions negotiate among themselves both as workers and owners, it is time for the auto workers to establish a new labor union. Until then, auto workers will continue to live in author George Orwell's "Animal Farm."
It is time for labor to organise new unions. We are all equal but some of us are more equal than others I think you refer to.How Libraries are run does not threaten my freedom as far as I can reason.Democrats are rushing to socialism at 80 MPH,the republicans establishment 40 MPH.Ron Paul wants to get in the bus and turn it around.Which scares the hell out of the D's and R's.But not in any way is Marxism the answer to this counties problems.
Dean writes: "The federal government of the corporation known as THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA practices capitalism, communism, imperialism and socialism. The masses have no idea."
Dean, what modern national government does not, along with sleeping with criminal enterprises and cartels? Do you see a utopia that I am missing somewhere? Are we not one world, under mammon?
Utopia is an imagined state. Utopia is not to be found in the realm of humankind. Seeking utopia on Earth is a waste of time.
With regard to mammon and me, I do not worship wealth. I do not praise so-called "job creators." These United States are chock full of preachers, politicians, professors and performers who worship wealth while seeking solace and meaning in money, fame and creature comforts. The celebrities among them stir and serve the slurry of propaganda that rules the minds of men and women who refuse to seek and embrace truth.
The U.S. federal government is indeed a criminal enterprise steeped in white supremacy, Lucifer worship, hypocrisy, cronyism, genocide, slavery and martial law. There is no need for looking to other nations to criticize or idolize.
Ransom, my guess is that I am not seeing anything you do not see. My goal is to identify the steaming piles of social, political and psychological crap so that people may avoid stepping in them.
