This is apparently one of two cases where Aliahna was molested in Iowa.

In a 2010 case, Aliahna is listed as the victim of a sexual assault. Kurtis Allen Kennedy, age 19 at the time of the crime, was originally charged with second degree sexual abuse. He was later arraigned on a charge of indecent contact with a child, an aggravated misdemeanor.
Kennedy plead not guilty to the original charge on April 16, 2010. On July 9, 2010 he entered a guilty plea to the indecent contact with a child charge. According to a complaint affidavit signed by Centerville Police Officer Jeremy Cole, during a Jan. 21 interview with Kennedy at his home, he confessed to his acts on Jan. 2.
“On Jan. 21, 2010 at approximately 3:20 p.m., DHS case worker Sarah Baker and I [Jeremy Cole] interviewed the defendant [Allen Kennedy] in his home, during the interview Kennedy did admit to partially disrobing Aliahna Lemmon, a seven year old child, and placing his hand on the child’s bare buttock, while the child was in his case on the evening of Jan. 2, 2010,” the affidavit said. “The defendant did so for the sole purpose of self-sexual gratification. The victim, Aliahna Lemmon, confirmed the defendant’s admission.”
As reported in a July 26, 2010 article in the Daily Iowegian, entitled “Prison sentence suspended to probation for Centerville teen,” Kennedy was sentenced to two years in prison, suspended to two year probation and a fine and surcharge, also suspended. Kennedy was ordered to register on the Iowa Sex Offender Registry for 10 year and to complete one of the residential correctional facilities operated by the Eighth Judicial District Department of Corrections.
Kennedy was sent to a halfway house in Ottumwa; however, he was involved in a fight on Oct. 11 inside the facility where he received a simple assault charge from the Ottumwa, Iowa Police Department. He was later transferred to Oakdale Prison in Iowa, where he is currently serving his prison sentence.
Tarah Souders, the mother of Aliahna, has traffic tickets from Appanoose County and Monroe County dating back as far as 2005, according to online court records. Souders was also listed on an April 5, 2010 Centerville City Council meeting agenda. Souders was requesting to “bring a dangerous dog into the city for her handicap daughter.” The topic, however, was not discussed as Souders did not attend the meeting, according to the meeting minutes.
In 2005, her address was listed in court documents as 213 East Wall St., Seymour, IA 52590.
Aliahna’s grandfather, James Lemmon, also spent an unknown period of time in the Centerville area. On April 10, 2005, James was extradited to Allen County, Indiana after being arrested in Centerville on a warrant issue from Allen County, Indiana on three counts of child molestation.
James may have lived at 649 North Park in Centerville, according to court documents.
I’m doing some digging now on the relationship between Kennedy and Tarah Souders, and just how he gained access to Aliahna.

Good God! Ok, I am obviously not well schooled in this garbage, but how is there SO MUCH child molestation in this family? If the mother was indeed molested as I have read, wouldn't you do everything in your power to make sure your own children never experience the same horror? I just don't get it.

If Kurtis Kennedy is related to biodad's wife it is imo probably more likely that he was chosen as a babysitter while it was biodad's turn to take care of her.
Okay, Kurtis Kennedy is indeed the younger brother of Aliahna's stepmother, (KKM married to biodad). If you find her MySpace account, he is listed in several pictures under "ppl in life".

M Smith says originally from Ft. Wayne, now lives in Centerville. M Smith also has photos of Lyle M<snip>'ss oldest daughter in her FB kids album, so I assume LM is the father to MS's daughter "K". Lyle Moser is from Ft. Wayne. Lyle Moser is also the father to A's 6yo half sister, and was step dad to A for a few years (according to LM FB page).
M Smith is also friends with C Smith on FB. A C L Smith is who filed the protective custody against MP for harassing her 13yo daughter. MP used to live with CL Smiths father. ok, I am done for now, whew

@ Native, if you look at Tarah Sounders Facebook page, you will see that she lists "The Wicca Block" under "other." Which seems to be a page she "Liked" so them "dabbling in "Wiccan" is not too far fetched.

I imagine Kevin Leininger at the News-Sentinel would consider a column on the Wiccan ties to this death if you called him and granted an interview. While Wicca claims to be a harmless nature religion, nature religions sometimes devolved into human sacrifice. Christendom historically affirms the existence of "unclean" spirits, demonic personages that can enter a person and drive their passions toward the opposite of Love. Such may indeed be the case here.

It's my understanding that the 2nd molester of Aliahah was James Lemmon – the sex offender grandfather. That's the rumblings I've heard on the internet, and can't confirm. Thanks.
@ Ransom Do you or anybody know the names of the other convicted child molesters related to this case? There is a case from 1988 that remains unsolved. You were speaking of some Wicca or satanic interest. In 1988 a 8 year old girl was abducted on Good Friday, the following Monday her body was found in a ditch in Spencerville Indiana. About 14 miles from this case. I noticed this girl disappears on Friday before Christmas another christian holiday. Both girls were around the same age, both had the middle name of Marie, rumors of Wicca and satanic worship were going around about her case. In 1990 someone wrote a message on a barn admitting to killing April, and again in 2004 notes were found in the Grabill area, threatning other little girls. Just did some work with maps. From9300 N Clinton to 5100 County Rd 68 Where April's body was found is 14.1 miles from where Ali's case happened. 10 miles to the northeast is where 2 notes were found in 2004. 10 miles southeast of 9300 N Clinton is where another note was found, and a message written on a barn and 4 miles was where another note was found in 2004. Plumadore has to have experience at killing in order to do what he did, or he has a partner that has experience. I believe several other cases are going to be solved as a result of this one. Excellent police work.
