This is childish. A large campaign sign located on West Jefferson in front of the former Dimension Ford building was destroyed by vandals who apparently used a box cutter to perform the dirty deed.
The inset in photo 1 shows strips of the former sign, which was obviously cut with a knife or box cutter. It apparently happened Thursday night.

The Sign Ninja hits the FORT again !!!!!!
The River City Lowriders support the Sceibenburger Team! We would like to see these vandals find their day in court for this foolish crime.
If I were "Ken's" campaign manager I would be sorely tested to gin up anonymous filings against the judge and clandestine acts such as these to play the victim card all the way to reelection. Would need only to find an alternative news source to uncritically report on the acts of the hypothetical bad guys.
The shadowy forces with no balls, who file anonymous complaints have finally figured out how to work a box cutter. I'm stinkin' impressed.
You know, it would be refreshing for the other 2 candidates in this race to come out and denounce these sorts of dirty tricks. Since no one has……they must reside with the people described in the first sentence.
DB, you might be onto something there. Perhaps they were behind JFK's assassination as well. Maybe it was Runestad in all instances, since that seems to be a favorite leap of logic recently demonstrated by Ken's little Barbies on this site.
I thank ransom for the comment, as I can hear the typical liberal "i can insult you, don't you insult me" in it. Now I KNOW I need to vote for Scheibenburger .
CW,
So you are voting for Scheibenburger because I am a liberal? And he a conservative?
Interesting analysis there, bub.
Oh well, at least you are unlikely to vote for hope and change again if you are haunting this gin joint.
Isn't this the property that the City Redevelopment Commission gave away for free to Redevelopment Chairman Guerin's employer?
Nobody else wanted the property. The city tried to sell it…nobody wanted it. At least the Sweetwater dude will create a few new jobs and the site will be cleaned up…plus taxes will be paid. What is there to complain about?
