Debate Chicken

It has come to my attention that Republican candidate for Huntington County Sheriff, Terry Stoffel, has declined an invitation from the Huntington TEA Party to participate in a debate at the Huntington North High School Auditorium on October 23rd or any day for that matter. Independent candidate for Huntington County Sheriff Steve Ochs did accept the TEA Party’s offer to go before the public and answer serious questions about serious issues confronting Huntington County and the Sheriff’s Department.

Why does Terry not want to go before the residents of Huntington and have an honest, open debate with “The Major” and have a more informed electorate? Maybe that is exactly why he doesn’t want to debate, a more informed voter?
