Yesterday Mayor Henry Obama stated he supports Obama’s decision on the Ground Zero mosque. He made his comments after hosting the mayor’s Iftar, a meal that celebrates the end of fasting during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
“I understand that the president is under a tremendous amount of pressure. I think that as long as he could, he tried to remain on the sideline,” said Henry “He has taken the stand. He takes the oath of president. We need to support our president in his decisions and he must do what he must do.”
Hmmm… I don’t recall the Mayor hosting other religious events. How about hosting a Passover Seder? I suppose next we can expect Henry to host a celebration of the Five Pillars of Islam.

The Victory Mosque is just the visible tip of a very large iceberg. Beneath the surface of Western societies, Muslims are waging a campaign of infiltration, subversion, sedition and social sabotage, with the objective of destroying our countries and way of life from within.
IMO, yes they have the right to build there.
But out of respect, and their own safety, they should not.
And why is the mayor of Fort Wayne having a big religious meal, what happened to the separation of church and state???
Will he be celebrating other religious holidays on the tax dollar, and making proclamations and statements?
But I suppose that meal didn't cost the $95,000 that his consultants charge him, to do very little work.
Mayor Tom was just at Meijer's on 14. It looked like he had a bottle of Meijer brand Pepto-Bismol. Guess his meal last night didn't agree with him.

While he let's Navistar slip away, I could give a rat's ass what he thinks about the so-called "ground zero mosque" or Ramadan. (thought his family was Catholic). Who in their right mind would advise His Excellency the Supreme Maximum Mayor to make an endorsement like this? Another "consultant"? What's next, Mayor Tom's ideas on immigration reform, his feelings on the Blago trial, his thoughts on California's financial mess, or even his fantasy football picks? I think what we need from the 9th floor is more leadership and less PR bullshit. And for g*d's sake, I don't even want to know the answer to the "boxers or briefs" question.
I have been vindicated and all I got was this lousy T-shirt! (and an Oprah deal, Survivor series, book deal, Dr. Phil, okay… I got more than the T-shirt…)
