Win Moses has sent a mail piece that is now appearing in mail boxes in the 81st district.
Interesting that Win thinks we have enough teachers in the General Assembly… especially since a teacher (Mike Obergfell) is challenging him in the fall.

It is really remarkable that this Fort Wayne Democrat would dare bring up education issues when he has been criticized for years for actually living in a mansion on the Northeast Side of Indianapolis in the affluent Geist area and sending his kids to Hamilton County's best schools.
Yet, I would bet money that he is a "ruling class" ISTA-backed legislator who is firmly opposed to school choice for those of us in the "country class" who lack the luxury of multiple residences or the ability to randomly buy a home in the school district of our choice.
Win fired me once. Consequently, I have great respect for him. I worked three years on the ninth floor and have know him since. He was a good boss, a very creative thinker, and Fort Wayne's best salesman ever. Ask him to spend time over a cup of coffee to explain positions. He will listen and he will give you a very full explanation. You may not be happy with what he says, but he will speak clearly and directly to you…and he will listen and think about what you have said.
Hmmm, a good salesman, huh? Must be why his full color taxpayer paid puff piece fails to mention his party affiliation.
Guess his nose for sales tells him to steer clear of that blow.
How can the residents of the 81st district continually choose for themselves a representative that does not live a life representatively of those in the 81st District. A teacher no matter the school has taught kids, seen every facet of family life, knows the varying family structures that live in that district. A teacher has probably witnessed more of the struggles in our great city, than most of us. How can a career politician who lives in a gated communited in ANOTHER CITY even fathom the struggles of District 81. Someone answer that question.
