Any ideas why? It seems that the other three all had better name recognition and standing.
I'm baffled as well. I thought Olinger would win.
Run BOB Run, nice job State Representative BOB MORRIS!!!!!
I wish I were in his district so I could cast my vote for him. Congratulations Bob!
Congratulations to Bob Morris!
Bob is an attractive candidate and was bound to win something considering the many offices he's run for.
Look, approx 40 people made this selection. Everyone has to look to the caucus. How many precinct committeemen are there for this district, how many seats are actually filled, then ask how many folks actually showed up? What was the make up of the delegates who showed? How many appointed, how many elected? How many delegatesare aligned with the Party, and how many are aligned with 9-12, Tea Party, Patriot Party groups? I believe the answer to that math problem would be interesting.
Bill Brown had better name recognition but there was no way he was actually going to win this. Name recognition always isn't a good thing.
Bob's win was a surprise to many, including me. His showing in the 3rd District caucus was impressive – gave perhaps the 1st or 2nd best speech of the day, and having his flyer placed on each precinct voter's chair after the 1st round of voting showed great organization and grass roots support. He became an even more formidable candidate for office and learned from his past experiences. Although he wasn't my first choice for the 84th, he is a strong candidate with conservative credentials and I am proud to support him.
