PHOENIX (AP) – Mexico is asking a federal court in Arizona to declare the state’s new immigration law unconstitutional. Lawyers for Mexico on Tuesday submitted a legal brief in support of a lawsuit challenging the law.
The law generally requires police investigating another incident or crime to ask people about their immigration status if there’s a “reasonable suspicion” they’re in the country illegally.
It also makes being in Arizona illegally a misdemeanor, and it prohibits seeking day-labor work along the state’s streets.

Why or how does Mexico have a right to challenge our laws in this country?
We should have thrown their president out of congress when he started to bad mouth Arizona and the immigration law.
Gotta hand it to Mexico, they have some mighty big cajones to frick with our laws while their entire country is pretty much one large broken dick.
ROFLMAO…
Marvelously played, Tim!
(he shoots, he scores!)
Just wait until MORE states sign onto the AZ bill…!
I would be surprised if a foreign government has any standing in a US Court questioning US Law. I say that despite the fact that I am not a lawyer, do not play one on TV and have not stayed at a Holiday Inn Express recently.
Mexico should stand back and wait.Obama will do it for them.
You know what's more disturbing? Some "American" lawyer is filing this and representing them.
I swear we are doomed from within eventually.
Tim, that lawyer is no doubt getting paid in good US dollars…that some illegals sent back home from the US.
Mexico needs to suck it. This is like a rapist suing his victim for daring to fight back.
That's a very good analogy Andrea.
