AMAZING…

INDIANA (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – An email is being sent to Republican Party leaders across the state purportedly from former Congressman Mark Souder.

Purportedly? Hell, I could have sent that email.

A party insider confirmed that the details of the email match a conversation the insider had with Souder following his resignation.

And yes more bullshit:

Within this email Souder alleges that Marlin Stutzman may have not fully disclosed certain campaign finance information relating To Mark Jackson privately flying Stutzman around when he campaigned for Senate.

Talk about yellow journalism. Shills for Elijah. Let’s have some verification.

This is getting pathetic.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna need a fuzz more verification than that fellahs. Pretty gutsy (foolish) to run with that "story", eh?

  2. Mark Souder says:

I sent an Facebook message to two people. In that e-mail I also stated that Marlin was likely to win, and that while Wes Culver and Ryan Elijah were strong candidates, Marlin was probably the strongest as well even though I was upset with a few things. It is about holding this seat for conservative Republicans and having someone talented enough to do a good job. I was hoping the two individuals would talk to Marlin to clarify any reporting questions, which would have been the responsibility of his treasurer. Just for the record, Marlin's statements of what he knew are correct (regarding Tracy and I). Dems already have plans for a smear campaign but I believe it will backfire because I have been public, disclosed more then enough info, and people are tired of it. Let the Dems do the smearing, not the Repubs.

and I am to believe Mark Souder wrote the above, why? And why would I believe anything he said?

I don't think they would run with the story without some type of verification. After all they did report that they sat on the Souder affair rumor since Feb. because they couldn't verify it. Alot of rumors have been swirling around about this very situation. I'm not saying that they are accurate but I do want to know more about what has been going on. I just want to make sure that we don't send another corrupt guy to represent us. And also, to the guy pretending to be Mark Souder on here, the Dems will definitely run a smear campaign against Stutzman, and not about any of this crap(although if this is true then I am sure they will add this to it) but they will be running that he is OBVIOUSLY looking for career advancement anyway he can get it. Let's just be serious, he got his state senate seat in 2009, less than a year later decided to run for an open US Senate seat, and when that failed to work within 3 weeks was running for a different office. I myself feel that Hayhurst has the popularity to win this election. Republican voters like myself have lost faith in the party and the officials, and I don't want to send a guy there that appears to be in it only for himself.

Any chance that Mr. Souder will just graciously step out of the spotlight and not talk to ANYONE about ANYTHING for awhile?

  6. John Henry says:

Agree. This is not the time to start getting paranoid, and reacting to and promulgating rumors. A lot of work to do.

  7. Bob says:

So the former congressman is so spineless that he has to use others to go meet with Stutzman. This is crazy. Everyone should read the entire message written by our former (and quite spineless) congressman on http://www.howeypolitics.com. The text of the message seems clear: Stutzman has baggage, and while Souder thinks he is the best candidate, Souder has not exactly proven to be a voice we can trust lately. Stutzman is another ambitious politician, just like his former boss.

  8. Dave says:

Just thought I would point out that maybe you jumped the gun a little bit by saying that FNC was reporting unfairly.

  9. Linda says:

And this Mr. Souder has nothing to do with Randy Borror??? Oh, that's right I forgot, your Christianity is selective, truth is only important if its
important to you. Go work on your marriage and stay out of politics.

  10. DouglasB says:

And this is why normal people are so disgusted with politics and politicans. And this Phil Troyer guy can't even figure out what job he wants. First he wants to be a Congressman, then he quits that and announces he wants to be a State Representative. Maybe if we wait long enough Mr Troyer will run for Dog Catcher, but that's tentative, right?

  11. Guest says:

I read the purported emails and the comments that have followed from many a website.

I need to favorite the websites of Brown and Hayhurst, while both are political, it seems, gasp, they are deplete of bullshit and only serious ideas and discussion. Imagine that?

I really like the ideas behind Stutzman, but is this really how we want another Congressman to go to DC?
