Don’t try to report a pothole online. I complained about this page sometime ago, and in looking today, it’s still broken.
I actually hadn’t gone back to report a hole, I was prompted by this, which I received from Indianapolis Mayor Ballard’s office via a Twitter update.

The Department of Public Works is taking advantage of warmer temperatures and stepping up pothole repairs with a special, two day blitz event.
When: Friday & Saturday, March 5- 6, 2010
Where: To Be Determined By Areas of Most Need
Please report potholes through the Mayor’s Action Center.
Maybe Brad Baumgartner of the Fort Wayne Street Department likes that fact it’s broken? Less work.

I call 311. Unfortunately, I have to listen to the laconic voice of the mayor before being connected. I suggest they forget about the introductory message or hire Victor Locke to provide the introduction. Let it sound professional rather than a amateurish effort to push the mayor's name on us one more time. Tom simply sounds like he is either speaking with a two year old or with someone of very slow wits. He does not sound energetic or intelligent, he does not present a very good first impression.
