Three political consultants from Indiana are hard at work on the Scott Brown for Senate campaign in Massachusetts.

Kurt and Kristen Luidhardt own the Prosper Group, based in Greenwood, IN. Their company has produced Scott Brown’s campaign web sites, here, and here, and are hard at work organizing phone banks and get out the vote (GOTV) efforts.

You can follow Kurt on Twitter here, and Kristen here.

And, Chris Faulkner of Faulkner Strategies of Granger, IN and Chris hit the ground in Boston on Saturday to also assist with the phone banks and GOTV efforts. You can follow Chris’ work on Twitter here.

Here’s some interesting last minute numbers.

- In Massachusetts, Democrats outnumber Republicans 3 to 1
- A Politico/Insider Advantage poll last night showed Brown was ahead, 52-43 percent.
- Brown also was leading in yesterday’s American Research Group survey, 52-45 percent.
- A PPP poll had Brown up by 5 points yesterday

It's interesting to me that a pro-choice republican has become the darling of the GOP because he might possibly take away a democrat's seat in congress. It's also ironic to me in the face of the brilliance of the "it's the people's seat" comment, Brown is riding a wave of partisanship into the Senate.

I'm certain Brown is an effective politician, but I do not feel that using buzzwords like "Socialized Healthcare" over a picture of Obama as Batman's "Joker" is doing him or our political body of through any favors.

"socialized healthcare" isn't a buzzword, it's a fact and the picture of Obama as the Joker is more than appropriate.

Using GW's "joker" pic didn't seem to hurt progressives any did it?

  3. Pez says:

Even if the Public option had passed, it doesn't meet the definition of socialism applied with any sort of academic rigor. (The means of production and delivery exclusively owned and controlled by the people).

The Joker character portrayed in the Dark Knight sequel to the Batman Begins movie was a sociopathic mass murderer. Personally I find that mocking the President of the United States in such a way is never appropriate, especially in the context of a Political advertisement for a United States Senate candidate. It implies disrespect for the office, and contributes to the polarization of political thought.

I was not actually aware that there was a GW version of the Joker pic. Despite the fact that it's not germane to the discussion at hand, I googled it and have the same opinion, that it represents a reprehensible disrespect to the seriousness of the presidential office.

    Progressives? Yea, who wants progress….
