Why can’t seemingly smart people simply apply the common sense of a 5th grader to realize how preposterous their claims sound? It’s baffling. Hysterically funny, but baffling.

@tim… I agree, but think it worthy to point out many conservatives in the same position (talk radio hosts) have been espousing for years things like the “liberal agenda” or the “gay agenda” etc… That’s not to say it’s impossible, but the farce that the dems put out with the healthcare bills do nothing to suggest that the democrats or even liberals for that matter could find their own arses, let alone organize a complex and multi-tiered conspiracy without anyone spilling the beans.

It reminds me of the small contingent of those so disconnected with reality that they thought Saddam had trucked the WMD out of the country… never acknowledging that such would have undoubtedly been a large project involving hundreds and hundreds of trucks, drivers, cranes, people to put gas in the trucks, people to cook meals for the laborers and drivers, along with what must have been a legion of middle managers to make such a farce possible…. oh, and somehow none of these people talked…
