Minnesota has done such a fine job of electing nuts. This is the state that gave us a professional wrestler as governor. Now the self absorbed Senator that the fruit cakes and ACORN up nort’ elected pulls this stunt, (next page).

All I can say to the knuckleheads in Minnesota is, “hey, insomnia bites!”

A now, a little Jimmy Buffet tribute to the assholes in D.C. selling out our country. Franken appears at the end.

Actually, I believe Joe Lieberman is the one you should be criticizing for holding the majority hostage. Last time I checked Majority rules in our Republic. Al was well within his rights in his capacity as a US Senator (and presiding officer at that moment) to stop Lieberman from continuing to mislead the Nation. Furthermore Mr. McCain, whom I used to respect until he picked the Wasilla hillbilly as his running mate (and he’s gone down hill from there), needs to look in the mirror with respect to his comment where he says, and I’m paraphrasing, that he does not know what has become of the chamber. What has happened is that the GOP is holding America hostage and its members are out of touch with real Americans.

From a transplanted Hoosier, acitve duty military officer assigned to Washington DC.

Whay do you hate America. To paraphrase W, …either you’re with America, or you’re against America… That pretty much sums up what most Americans feel about the Rethuglican party. Real patriots are moderate to progressive not, out of touch zealots who want to live in the past and keep averyone else their too.

Respect the Consitution (something you should perhaps read sometime), the founding fathers our troops, the President, the citizens who strive to move our nation forward, out of the darkness of hate, injustice, and inequality.

Be a good American, if you can and stop lisitening to all the right-wing neo-facsist koolaid drinking, bat-crazy so-called conservatives (Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh…) But don’t listen to the ones on the otherside either, even though they are not hateful or quite as ignorant (they are actually educated) as are their right-wing counterparts.

    -A Real Patriot.

I thought McCain did the same thing (i.e. cutting off a Senator during the debate leading up to the Invasion of Iraq). You didn’t seem to show that. You are entitled to your opinion, but you are not entitled to your own facts.

  4. Dan says:

    Nol,

You must read all of the far-left blogs. Many have the same reference, however none of them have sourced it with any main stream media source that was there.

I reported what I know as fact, the video backs it up. Just spouting out something isn’t quite enough, sorry. If you care to come back with a legitimate MSM source that was actually there, great, I’ll post it. If all you can do is cite Radar Online, Fire Dog Lake or HuffPo, it won’t see the light of day.

Oh, I’m chief top-dog writer, editor & janitor here, and yes, I am entitled to “my own facts,” especially when they are indeed, facts.

Me wonders if you’ll be walking and knocking on doors for the lefties this upcoming election, seeking out felons to vote. From your blog on Organizing for America:

    Sep 13th, 2008
I canvassed hard on the west side of Fort Wayne, in the High St. Area.

    [...]

I met a young man today named Jason, who informed me that he couldn’t vote because he was a felon. I told him, “Like hell you can’t!” I gave him and his girlfriend a voter registration form.

High Street? Good choice. That area has perhaps the highest percentage of child molesters living there than any part of the city.

At least you were smart to not walk cell-to-cell signing up voters. Bring on those felons and child molesters, lord knows they all need some of Obama’s “stash.”

    And..

    Apr 28th, 2008
I walked New Haven, Indiana on Saturday. It’s a homogeneous Caucasian town just east of Fort Wayne. I didn’t talk to any supporters or non-supporters, only a few undecideds. One thing I’m concerned about is our ability to define Senator Obama.

You know, if you would have asked me back then, and I were on your team, I would have advised you to tell them he’s a half-white homogeneous Caucasian. Why sugarcoat with a half-truth?

Good luck with that Tom Hayhurst thing.

Reading the constitution would be a good thing for them to do. No where does it say government should provided heath care.

Hey, you voted for this hope-and-change thing, you bought it and now you’ve got it.

For us who have insurance, we are going to get screwed. And, if you read, which apparently you don’t, this new bill will only provide coverage for 1/3 of those which don’t have any now.

Wow a trillion dollars for this, and all those seniors who shed blood for this country now on Medicare will get their benefits cut.

  6. Nol Beckley says:

Heck, I’m just happy you think enough of me to google my name. What’s wrong with everyone getting a chance to vote? For the record, I liked McCain. It was the first time in my life that there were actually 2 decent choices for president. I didn’t agree with McCain, but I won’t resort to ad hominem attacks on the man. And I thought you hated the MSM, why are you wanting that sourced?

  7. cw martin says:

By the way,”real patriot” it takes a lot of nerve for you to come up with the term “rethuglican” when you were probably only too happy to support all those black panthers encourageing people to vote for Obama. GOP may be far from perfect, but liberals are the most exasperating rationalizers and damn liars the world has ever seen. Tear yourself away from your sound bytes and look in the mirror, pal.

  8. tim zank says:

Attention Libtards, Once again you have proved common sense is not an attribute of liberal ideology and doctine. Dan is correct about the McCain comparison, in that there can’t be one. If the situations (Stuart Smalley & John McCain) were similar, the MSM (NYT, PMSNBC, etal) would have pounded McCain into the ground with immediately. My guess is because the circumstances were entirely different (this is my speculation) in that McCain probably didn’t yeild any of his time, where as Diaper Boy’s abhorrent behavior was two-fold…First he called Liebs on "time" in his capacity as "Chair"…when Liebs asked for unanimous consent (which always flies) Captain Air Ameritard (in his capacity of one of the senators, not as a chair) objected, not to move along the schedule, but to blatantly be a prick because he doesn’t like Lieberman. He’s a petty, vile little man that I have no doubt was stuffed in many lockers while growing up.

Minnesota deserves him, a gorgeous State but filled with insufferable pricks for a populace.

  9. Dan says:

    Nol,

I expected a source. I guess you don’t have one. The fact is, MSM is the only one that could have been there. It seems the Senate has yet to credential any bloggers.
