Think about Communism for a moment. The reason it was short-lived, was due to the fact they had to force people to embrace it, and partake in actually having their liberties and privileges taken away. If they didn’t, they were forced to participate, and that involved handcuffs, prison, etc.
Keeping that in mind, click below and watch this 2 minute clip.
If this passes, Obama and company will continue down their path of complete subjugation of your rights, count on it.
Today’s suggested reading, “Animal Farm,” by George Orwell.

Hey, Skinner…
I realize you won’t comment here since you’re worried about your computer’s integrity, so here’s a shout out.
I don’t see a reference to socialism, even though that is indeed what’s going on. Matter of fact, I don’t see an opinion on Orwell. It’s no wonder this blog’s readership shadows your paltry numbers. I really enjoyed it when you quit blogging.
Are you capable of anything other than whining about the right?
Canada doesn’t want you back and we’d like you to go back. I’d even throw in for the train tickets. I’ll even hand deliver them to you.
See you at the Palin book signing! I’ll buy you a kool-aid.
Once again, your sensationalism astounds me. This is not “news.” It’s breathtaking to me that just now in the last month or so the GOP has become so desperate as to attempt to scare Americans away from this legislation (probably for good reason) as to parade around this whole “you’ll go to jail” angle. Again, it’s not “news.” If anyone knows how individual mandate systems work, this has been a given since the start of the bill’s inception! Under an individual mandate system, if you don’t buy the insurance, you are taxed. If you don’t pay the tax, that’s tax evasion. It’s incentive to buy insurance. It is one of many methods used around the world to provide “universal health care.” Unfortunately, for such a system to exist, mandates generally have to exist either on individuals or employers.
The sad thing is that most of the pundits in Washington refuse to recognize is that rather than trying to provide a “universal” system through a ridiculous overhaul, they could easily provide coverage to virtually everyone just by deflating all the artificially-inflated health care costs and putting a few small regulations in place. Also, simply forcing more transparency in the health care field would immediately reduce costs dramatically!
Wulf,
Considering you’re a liberal, I wouldn’t expect anything less from you. It is news. You wouldn’t know news if it hit you in your rainbow tainted jeans.
I wonder if he borrowed those handcuffs from a police officer, or if he just used the pair he had on the nightstand.
