As many of you may have seen reported, a 19 year-old Auburn, Indiana woman tossed her newborn into a garbage bag on Sunday, and then pitched the child into a dumpster.
Pat White is on now, saying we should have compassion for this attempted child killer. I had to turn it off.

I’m amazed Pat had this on so early. Usually takes him a couple of days……he typically waits until Matt Drudge, or Neal Boortz takes a position and that provides him with “adlib” material. Pat also uses nearly exclusively. I really enjoy occasionally hearing some of my own comedy material on his show. The words “originality” and “Pat White” have never appeared together in the same sentence…..
It cheeses me off when he talks about reality TV. I can\’t stand watching it, let alone hear someone talk about it.
On any subject that Pat discusses he writes down four or five “bullet points ” which then repeats them four five times. Then he takes calls and repeats the same points with each caller. I keep screaming at my innocent radio: “Shut it down, Pat!” . . . but he never hears nor does he ever change his shtick.
WOWO could really use an interesting drive-time talk host.
Good observations, Mr Gadfly. But it’s not all Pat. After years and years of his “act”, his callers are the same folks over and over. They support him in this symbiotic relationship which he, the advertisers and station management see as a programming and financial success. Who would not have good ratings with Rush Limbaugh as your lead in? You can always tell when a “new” caller comes on the air. Pat will quickly discern that this person could be a threat to whatever position he is supporting, and Pat will swiftly have Enoch turn down the caller and then Pat will repeat his bullet points again, and the caller is can’t respond. At which time we hear the ever annoying phrase “thisiswowoandImpatwhite”.
WOWO has no intention of getting rid of Pat. What they have is something that’s predictable and safe. A blowhard putting other blowhards on the air and repeating stale information from the internet stolen from legitimate talk-show hosts and out of work comedy writers. The dirty little secret is that Pat White isn’t really a talk show host. He’s a caricature of a talk-show host. Think Saturday Night Live character – - without the talent.
Oh, Douglas B, you are SO right. I think WOWO does themselves a disservice filling those 3 hours with Pat White. White noise would be more stimulating. There are a few things I’ve found interesting, like when Sheriff Fries is on. I don’t know where else I would have heard the Sheriff’s opinion of the city/county consolidation.
I listen to WOWO all day at work with headphones and the headphones are off more than on from 3 to 5. I have XM in my car so I don’t have to listen to him during my drive.
Outsider, appreciate your comment about Ken Fries on the show. Have you ever noticed there is a world of difference when Charley Butcher has someone on, and when Pat does? Pat will only have people on who he agrees with and only feeds them softball questions. Charley will talk to anyone, asks intellegent questions, and treats his guests with respect.
There is day and night difference between Charlie Butcher & Pat White. It’s like Pat White is WOWO’s attempt to satisfy people who mostly don’t care about anything but Reality TV & other “pop culture”. I enjoy Pat Miller too.
Pat White is overly obsessed with American Idol, and dancing with the Stars. I’ve never heard him talk about manly things, like the NFL for example.

Pat White is an idiot… But he’s also his own biggest fan. He will be the first one to tell you how great he is….
Dan, give us some audio so we know what we’re listening to, otherwise, I cannot believe someone would support and defend such trash.
He actually defended her the following day also. You can believe it. He quoted someone in some type of social service that said we shouldn’t judge her because we don’t know what she was going through.

I called in that day and asked him if thought the D.C. Sniper and Scott Roeder, who killed Dr. George Tiller should get any compassion, and he said no. I agreed.
I then asked him how she was different, since she came within mere hours of murdering her child. Of course, he didn’t answer. My intention was to put him on the spot and to illustrate his hypocrisy.
The now are saying it’s possible Lesch still has parental rights to the baby girl. That would indeed be another tragedy.
My answer as to Roeder and Muhammad, “fry them.”
While Lesch, (who’s out and walking around a free woman at the moment) may certainly need/require a great deal of psychological counseling, she had the presence of mind to clean up the mess, take a shower and get ready for work the next morning. That’s not insanity in my book.
Some say she was confused. That’s no excuse for disregarding the sanctity of life. Now a jury or judge will have to decide.

Yes, that was me. And Pat White knew it was me which is why I suspect I wasn’t summarily “cut-off.”
I listen to Pat White as comedy. I love to listen for the dumb things he’s going to say. My favorite is when he refers to himself as “homie” in the third person. I remember Pat talking about the Fort Wayne schools getting new sprinkler systems a year or two ago. I caller who worked for a sprinkler company called in and corrected Pat on his ignorant statements on the issue. Pat shut him down by telling him his opinion didn’t count because he had a “vested interest” in the matter over and over again. Its too bad he ditched “The Queen.” I like how Pat’s friends with all the overpriced businesses in town.
each time I listen to get news during that time of day I am always horrified by the "host" he seems to spend a lot of time speaking toliet talk like a 5 year old….he is infatuated with rear ends, toliet paper and listen for a short time and you will hear this
He is gross looking, repetitive, out of touch, un focused, un prepared PLEASE GET SOME TALENT
