Last night was a nightmare come true, as house democrats turned their backs on their base and voted to approve Pelosi’s bullshit healthcare plan. They were goaded on by Obama, who told them, “You don’t want those extremist teabag people to win, do you?”
One Republican, Joe Cao, who replaced “Dollar Bill” Jefferson in a democrat district from Louisiana voted yes. 39 Democrats voted no.

FWIW, the Stupak-Pitts amendment to strip abortion funding from the bill passed. Now we’ll have to wait and see if it can survive the conference committee with the Senate, or a Supreme Court challenge.

I blame the idiot voters for this mess.
First blame the voters, they have the ultimate control, then blame the politicians, then blame the bureaucratic agencies that over-regulated the insurance industy. The insurance companies make far less profit (about 2%) than what Barry, Pelosi, Reid and company would have you believe. In fact their return on investment is dismal compared to Pelosi’s…. (hotels, vineyards, and her husbands lucrative real estate holdings and investment firm. She won’t be worrying about the effects of Pelosi-care at all….nor will any of her family and friends.. just us sheeple…
