Here’s what Obama’s Organizing for America thinks is art

One of the 20 finalists in health care video contest run by Barack Obama’s campaign arm features a mural of an America flag splattered with health care graffiti until it’s covered completely by black paint.
According to the Organizing for American Web site, the 20 finalists in the “Health Reform Video Challenge” were chosen by a panel of “qualified” Democratic National Committee “employee judges.”
Translation: America Haters
Now that Obama is in office, desecrating the American flag is once again nouveau.

Geez, what would you expect in a contest titled “Health Reform Video Challenge”?
This is a far stretch from actually desecrating a flag. It’s art with a message via the MTV video generation. Get over it.
Gee, and to think people used to get ARRESTED for “tagging”…how much more “civilized” we’ve become.
Gotta stroke that “ME-generation’s” self-esteem, don’t we?
Oh, by the way, would you like a crucifix for that urine specimen you’re carrying?
After all, THAT is considered “art”.

It’s not art. I suppose if it was an abstract depiction of Christ, and people desecrated it you would be fine with that too?
Did I like the video? Not really. Do I support free expression? Sure do.
Why is it if somebody disagrees with your point of view on a piece of art that you IMMEDIATELY feel the need to point to the most extreme examples of what some people consider art and then imply that I would support it?
And really, did you expect all the entries of a video contest to look as if they were put forth by Boy Scouts?
How about a homosexaul, jew, arab or a black man hanging in a tree with a sign that says healthcare dies, is that art, Dan, do you support that free expression?
No, silly rabbi, you can only do that with Christians.
What part of the glory of Rome did you not get?
