Yesterday my truck’s battery was dead. I just replaced it 4 months ago, so it seemed odd. I opened the hood, and the damn chipmunks had nested right under the hood at the front of the engine compartment. While I’m not sure they’re to blame for the battery failure, the mess they left behind was amazing.
The chipmunk dunk tank is now back in operation, (original instructions are here). It took all of two minutes for one the little bastards to take a dive.
I nailed 25 or more over the summer, and from what I can count I still have at least 10 to go. They’re nothing but city rats in my book. They decided to take up residence in my woodpile, and I was intent on leaving a few behind.. sorry you little furry shits. Game on.

Since someone let it out of the bag, yes, I do eat ‘em
Yummy

Maybe the battery was drained because those damn chipmunks had hooked their lights & stuff up to it and were partying “Alvin’ style all night long!
hahahaha..
Alvin! Simon! Theodore!
LMAO, Tim…..I was thinking the same thing!
(keep ‘em around for the “Christmas Don’t Be Late” sing-a-long)
ALLLLLVIN….!!!
(and to think we have Ross Bagdasarian to thank for Dan’s dilemma)
Can’t ya just picture Alvin & friends gathered around a little Christmas tree singing songs under Dan’s hood with the lights duct-taped to the battery terminals?? heh heh heh..
Tim: Be careful what you “wish” for….LMAO!
I am sure if drive by Dan’s house tonight you will see him sitting next to his truck with the hood open drinking a glass of wine. Dan never misses a good party. LMAO
I can picture him sittin’ there with a itty bitty chipmunk size “hibachi” just grillin’ & chillin’!
Okay, I had to update with two more pictures.
Im really broke right now…so, what times dinner?….looks good !………i really need to get you a job… your spending too much time out back “crocodile dundee”, ……. lov ya man, lesa
I’m sending over a copy of the new Chipmunks movie. Maybe you will learn to appreciate them a little more!
Nice job danno!! I’ve got them all over my place too. I can’t hit ‘em with my 22 anymore, lil’ bastards are fast! and my eyes aren’t as good as they used to be so I got out the trusty 16 gauge! If I get any “keepers” I’ll bring ‘em to ya! Ha!!
Just use the bucket method. It works. I soak them in an MSG solution overnight anyway, tenderizes the hell outta of them.
