Vince Robinson, Fort Wayne PIO under investigation for domestic abuse

Update: We’ve just learned the woman that filed protective against Mr. Robinson is also the managing editor at Robinson’s Diversity Media Group’s Ink Newspaper. Her name Kim Wiley, and was appointed to that position in October, 2008.
We’ve also learned that Robinson is still married to his estranged wife Robin, who filed the two previous domestic battery orders against Robinson.

Update #2:
Kim Wiley is currently married (as of 8/31/2009), but we understand estranged to Don Wiley, a Caucasian, (not that it matters) and football coach and social studies teacher at North Side High School in Fort Wayne.
Kim has filed protective orders against her husband Don in the past, as noted below the fold.

It looks like Rachael Blakeman and Ozzie Mitson are going to see an increased work load soon. Our friends at Indiana’s news Center just filed this report.
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – The city of Fort Wayne’s Public Information Director, Vince Robinson, is now the subject of an internal investigation; after Indiana’s NewsCenter learned a protective order was served on him earlier this week.
A complaint filed by a woman who claims to be his girlfriend, says she was attacked at her residence on Tuesday by Robinson, that she was thrown to the floor, body slammed and that Robinson threw an iron candle holder at her.
A statement from Mayor Henry’s Administration says, “this just came to our attention, and we have begun an internal investigation.”
Court records indicate Robinson had domestic battery complaints filed against him on two other occasions by his wife, most recently in 2007.
Ouch. Can you say “Angry Black Man?”
One can assume that “One-term Tommy’s” vetting process is about as good as Obama’s.

What a complete shock. I’ve know Vince professionally and I have no words to describe my shock and surprise. This is a shame….
I’ve known Vince for maybe 10 years, on and off but not in a personal setting.
Nice guy in a business sense, but when it comes to politics he’s a walking talking Obama/NAACP/”Buy Black” machine.

Finally saw a story in the JG Saturday morning. No doubt the JG is “helping” Mayor Tom’s junta…hold the story for a time when no one (statistically) will see it. Tracy Warner must have been off that day…
Our prayers are with Kyms husband (Don Wiley) with school all day , then going home to care for his children every night and a gravely ill father, we dont know how he does it.

There are two sides to THAT story and I know both. No one is a saint in that situation.
Prayers need to go to the children who have to deal with these stupid adults.
Prayers need to go to the victims of people like them who think because they hold some title (teacher, PIO, etc..) they can smack around and abuse others.
There is absolutly no excuse to hit a women NONE , and my prayer go out to the familys , wifes, husbands, kids etc. And i to know both sides
Why is this site so obessed with race and videos that are supposed to be funny and serious at the same time? How do I know what is serious and what is gossip? Images as provacative and funny are put in the middle of serious journalism seems like not being serious. People are people, but I am wondering how all of these “problems” with politicians seem to be applied only to Democrats and people who aren’t part of the country club or Beck club. I have lots of interesting stuff about Steve Shine and his relations with his wife or things having to do with Karen Richards. I could set up a blog to talk about this, but I wouldn’t be successful because normal people don’t have the interest or craziness to indulge in this stuff. To say the media is somehow in the pocket of the liberals doesn’t make much sense to me.
I am trying to follow what logic or discussion has to do with the topic or critical thought. More crazy “beck” logic of journalism that doesn’t rely on any thought but the indulgence of the web gives everyone the opportunity to say whatever they want. Prayers/magic aside might we want to think about some things and have to make decisions.
