For example, every campaign nets their platform down to 2 or 3 words so it will fit on a button or bumper sticker. Are you going to accuse anybody who campaigns of oversimplifying complex issues? Well, maybe you should -- but that's the nature of the beast. There's an honorable way of discussing and debating issues -- and there's taking cheap shots for attacking when the "other side" uses exactly the same tactics that everybody uses. How silly.
