7:30 – Souder is talking about we’re not rationing end of life decisions, prescriptions, etc. Mentioned in 1994 GOP was stopped on Tort Reform. We had a market based reform on HSA, and people controlling health pooling, flexibility to risk pool and they were all opposed by the Democrats.

“Why would Obama want to change our healthcare system when 84% are happy with their current plans. Talking now about the 34 Czars that have been appointed that answer to no one.”

Souder responds “the drug Czar will be in Fort Wayne next week.”

7:40 – We are having a battle over capitalism.

Now comes Dave Armstrong.

“Early this spring I got off the couch and made a sign and joined the mob, met a lot of nice mob buddies.” I took a petition and got 94 signatures. Now reading the petition to all Indiana federal legislatures.

Talking about the “Fair Tax.” I wish I could type faster.

His question to Souder: “Aren’t you on the wrong side?”

Souder: “There’s a difference of opinion on flat tax and fair tax but they should not be combined so there’s a tax increase.”

So far, all have been in opposition of the Obamacare plan.

7:45 – Souder is obviously listening to anyone that has an opinion, for or against.

Now comes Kerry King from Busco.

Wants to know why the Czars are being allowed. Doesn’t trust elected officials to do the right thing. Says are freedoms are being eroded at an escalating group, and is now talking about the “new world order.”

Now speaking Dr. John Crawford

I am a doctor working with patients and Medicare. Government involvement is a huge part of the problem, not the solution. Doctor Crawford some good points on Medicare and the escalating costs.

Is now addressing that illegal aliens should not be eligible for free care. – Ditto.

Some dork took it out of context. Sheesh. Souder shut him down.

Don Liddell speaking now, out of his ass actually. Not making any sense. Talking in circles.

8:02 – Liddell is bitching about Obama’s socialism to Souder. WTF?

8:03 – Paul Stanton now, a veteran, thanks Souder for the new GI Bill. Was in the 101st Airborne. Talking about Walter Reed and how horrible VA hospitals are/were. He’s a disabled vet, but says he could not see his primary provider for three months. Basically complaining about all the travel involved in getting VA healthcare. Gov’t is not doing it’s job with the VA. Instead of fixing what’s broken, let’s fix what’s already broken.

8:06 – Souder talks about how we’re keeping the existing facility, and expanding other district VA centers and travel will be rare once the complete program is decided. States people will be stationed at local hospitals to make certain vets get their proper care. Says innovation does not come from inside of government healthcare.

8:10 – So now comes someone bitching about why we don’t have basic healthcare for everyone. Let’s just change the constitution, eh?

8:14 – Small applause for someone on Indiana health care plan. It’s her only option. Didn’t really make her point. Two claps.

8:16 – Sound wingnut says this may result in the next revolutionary war. Save me. He does make some good points on gov’t getting out of private business however.

8:18 – Follow on WOWO live. I’m outta here. Sorry

8:24 – Can’t resist. Now comes a conservative, (says he’s not a republican). Says Souder is a good politician as they go, but has colleagues that are not, like Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, etc.. (says he has a speech impediment, pardon his slips), [okay a comedian] Barney Frank pressured the banks to lend to people that could never pay their sub-prime mortgages, and then he was shocked when they failed, even though he had gotten his boyfriend a job with Fannie.

8:29 – A student from Canterbury is complaining about how socialized healthcare is going to burden her in her older years with all kinds of debt.

8:31 – Didn’t catch her name but she said “God decides when we die, not Obama.”

You have to give Souder credit for letting as many people speak as possible.

8:37 – Wants to ask how American people feel that congress is going to exempt themselves from the public option.

Souder: “If you vote for this bill we should all go under the public option, if not its a sign of arrogance.” And says, ” what’s good for the people is good the the elected officials.”

8:42 – Now comes Kevin Nichols… tells Souder he’s a great American. “And the enemy comes to rob and destroy…” and Maybe we need to bow to the “lord of lords.” And “you go with it brother.”

On that, I’ll leave it up to you to follow this. I’m hungry.
