I do not for one minute believe that Big Barry is backing down on the ‘Public Option’ in his plan to ration this nation’s healthcare.

How can he? It is a central point to his entire plan! Without the ‘Public Option’ feature of his plan, Healthscam is a BUST!

The reasons for my thinking: http://dubyavu.wordpress.com/2009/08/17/obama-not-backing-down-on-the-%E2%80%98public-option%E2%80%99/

<i>"We have the 37th worst quality of healthcare in the developed world. ..."</i>

What a wonderful collection of unsubstantiated, undocumented statistics.

Must be a Democrat.

We should be more careful of what we copy and paste.

The truth in this matter is that health care is not a <b>right</b> but it is a <b>responsibility</b>. Rhetoric confuses the two but it cannot change the truth.

I don't think anyone would disagree with the fact that the costs of health care in the United States are spiraling out of control. But destroying the system will not fix it. The United States is still the world leader in medical provision, advancement and innovation.

Sure, some nations are more liberal in the distribution of experimental medications and procedures especially in cancer and , but no nation in the world values and protects Human life like the United States does.

I have personal concern regarding a couple of the many issues being forced upon us with this legislative disaster.

First, a woman in my family has children fathered by two different men. She works part time and has refused to take full time positions with medical benefits. She chooses not to purchase one of the many affordable major medical policies which are currently readily available. She refuses to let one of the fathers be involved financially or personally. The other she refused to marry which would allow her to gain medical benefits for herself and her uninsured child (though that's a poor reason to get married). She smokes and drinks regularly and full time work just never seemed to fit into her lifestyle. I am frustrated for her oldest child because they have never been covered by any type of medical policy and their mother refuses to do what is necessary to get them covered. The youngest child is covered by their father's policy. I don't hate this woman or hold her choices against her. But they are her choices and the consequences are her consequences.

Under Obamacare, I will be forced to pay for medical care she has refused to pay for herself even though she has the opportunity and ability to do so but refuses.
That is wrong! Isn't America Free?

Also Obamacare will require me to register the medical care program that I, as a father, have chosen for my children and they will decide if it is good enough. I love my children and know what they need and I would go through hell and high water to see that they are taken care of. There is no way I want some bureaucrat in Washington D.C. to have the power to arbitrarily decide if my choices are good enough.
That is wrong! and borderline communist and evil. How can you justify taking away my freedom and liberty?

If you're for Obamacare, you are obviously for something other than liberty and freedom.

I am not a registered Republican or Democrat. I am willing to campaign against any Republican or Democrat who supports taking away by liberty or freedom.

BTW
-Senator Evan Bayh is not a Hoosier anymore and is going down in 2010. His voting record and his wife are an embarrassment to all Hoosiers. (<a HREF="http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?sid=auTmNXiBqkjE&pid=20601070" rel="nofollow">Susan Bayh</a> is fair game because of her public professional affiliations. )

-Senator Richard Lugar has been away from Indiana too long. It's time for him to step aside and let someone who understands 21st Century Hoosier families represent us.

-Dr. Tom Hayhurst is a fool for supporting this legislative disaster. There's obviously a payoff for him. Interesting that he's in the spotlight again. He should be more embarrassed about losing to Souder in 2006 than Evan Bayh's dad was for losing to Dan Quayle in 1980. Is he the best the Democrats can do? Probably.

Enjoyed your list but you forgot the Incumbent Democrat Senators preparing for defeat in 2010:

    * Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas
    * Barbara Boxer of California
    * Michael Bennet of Colorado
    * Christopher Dodd of Connecticut
    * Daniel Inouye of Hawaii
    * Evan Bayh of Indiana
    * Barbara Mikulski of Maryland
    * Harry Reid of Nevada
    * Kirsten Gillibrand of New York
    * Chuck Schumer of New York
    * Byron Dorgan of North Dakota
    * Ron Wyden of Oregon
    * Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania
    * Patrick Leahy of Vermont
    * Patty Murray of Washington
    * Russ Feingold of Wisconsin

Throw The Healthcare Obstructionist Out!

More than two thirds of the American people want a single payer health care system. And if they cant have a single payer system 76% of all Americans want a strong government-run public option on day one (85% of democrats, 71% of independents, and 60% republicans). Basically everyone.

We have the 37th worst quality of healthcare in the developed world. And the most costly. Costing over twice as much as every other county. Conservative estimates are that over 120,000 of you dies each year in America from treatable illness that people in other developed countries don't die from. Rich, middle class, and poor a like. Insured and uninsured. Men, women, children, and babies. This is what being 37th in quality of healthcare means.

I know that many of you are angry and frustrated that REPUBLICANS! In congress are dragging their feet and trying to block TRUE healthcare reform. What republicans want is just a taxpayer bailout of the DISGRACEFUL GREED DRIVEN PRIVATE FOR PROFIT health insurance industry, and the DISGRACEFUL GREED DRIVEN PRIVATE FOR PROFIT healthcare industry. A trillion dollar taxpayer funded private health insurance bailout is all you really get, without a robust government-run public option available on day one. Co-OP's ARE NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR A GOVERNMENT-RUN PUBLIC OPTION. They are a fraud being pushed by the GREED DRIVEN PRIVATE FOR PROFIT health insurance industry that is KILLING YOU!

YOU CANT HAVE AN INSURANCE MANDATE WITHOUT A ROBUST PUBLIC OPTION. MANDATING PRIVATE FOR PROFIT HEALTH INSURANCE AS YOUR ONLY CHOICE WOULD BE A DISASTER. AND UNETHICAL, CORRUPT, AND MORALLY REPUGNANT. AND PROBABLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL AS WELL.

These industries have been slaughtering you and your loved ones like cattle for decades for profit. Including members of congress and their families. These REPUBLICANS are FOOLS!

Republicans and their traitorous allies have been trying to make it look like it's President Obama's fault for the delays, and foot dragging. But I think you all know better than that. President Obama inherited one of the worst government catastrophes in American history from these REPUBLICANS! And President Obama has done a brilliant job of turning things around, and working his heart out for all of us.

But Republicans think you are just a bunch of stupid, idiot, cash cows with short memories. Just like they did under the Bush administration when they helped Bush and Cheney rape America and the rest of the World.

But you don't have to put up with that. And this is what you can do. The Republicans below will be up for reelection on November 2, 2010. Just a little over 13 months from now. And many of you will be able to vote early. So pick some names and tell their voters that their representatives (by name) are obstructing TRUE healthcare reform. And are sellouts to the insurance and medical lobbyist.

Ask them to contact their representatives and tell them that they are going to work to throw them out of office on November 2, 2010, if not before by impeachment, or recall elections. Doing this will give you something more to do to make things better in America. And it will make you feel better too.

There are many resources on the internet that can help you find people to call and contact. For example, many social networking sites can be searched by state, city, or University. Be inventive and creative. I can think of many ways to do this. But be nice. These are your neighbors. And most will want to help.

I know there are a few democrats that have been trying to obstruct TRUE healthcare reform too. But the main problem is the Bush Republicans. Removing them is the best thing tactically to do. On the other hand. If you can easily replace a democrat obstructionist with a supportive democrat, DO IT!

You have been AMAZING!!! people. Don't loose heart. You knew it wasn't going to be easy saving the World. :-)

God Bless You
