Dear Friends:

hands off bus

Hoosiers value their freedoms. In the current health care battle, those freedoms are under attack. If politicians and Washington bureaucrats get their way – a government takeover of your health care – then we will lose the freedom to choose our doctors, what type of care we want and the insurance plans we choose.

Nothing is more important than your family’s health. That is why I’ve agreed to coordinate the Indiana leg of the Patients First “Hands off my Health Care” bus tour project. It starts next week! I believe you are most qualified to make the health care decisions that affect you and your family.

I believe when you or a family member is sick, you should be able to get care quickly – not months or years later. And I believe your medical privacy is paramount. Don’t let Washington bureaucrats come between you and your doctor. Join us next week on our Indiana bus tour to protect the right to choose your doctor, your care and to protect your privacy. Tell Washington to keep their “Hands Off My Health Care!” www.joinpatientsfirst.com

  1. mark says:

Sorry, the announcement that Souder would be speaking made the price of admission too high for me. A sermon on the evils of big government from the guy who supported TARP, auto company bail-outs, Cash for Clunkers, etc. would, in a just universe, cause his head to explode.

  2. mark says:

To be clear, the explosion would be from the hypocrisy. Souder is for big government that he likes and against big government that he doesn’t like. Big deal.

  3. Mark Andrews says:

Well I still want to know who is paying for that bus!!!! I still want Souders’ health package. Isn’t that a Government Provided health care as Obama proposed? Why isn’t that hypocrat Souder opting out??
That bus alone represents the excess in which health care companies live. We have a free-market health care system that is driven by multiple streams of revenue. Insurance, Pharm, Durable/non durable goods all with their hands out to make a profit.
Health care is a huge mega-business!!

  4. Dan says:

The bus was paid for by a non-profit called Patients United Now, (http://patientsunitednow.com/) and not any of your dollars. The bus represents that donations made by American citizens that do not want the government to take over and ration our healthcare system.

Congress’ current health care plan is in no way similar to Obamacare.
