I'm a moderate, but tend to vote Democrat a majority of the time and I am VERY leery of Obama's health care proposal. But its the only thing being discussed. There is nothing stopping congressional leaders from coming with their own plan, hosting a huge press conference on how we can make private insurance companies to lower costs. I've even been watching my fair share of Fox News to learn what their plan is, but I can't find one. It's only reactionary. It would be much different if there were two proposals the American public could look at and debate. Instead, it all eyes on Obama, for better or worse, and now they're in the majority with the Blue Dogs compromising. I would love to see a small group of leading Republicans stop shouting at the rain and bring a level argument to the people.
