I am a left-leaning citizen who fully applauds the action of the local police department in Massachusetts. It would be another issue if the homeowner was cooperative. If the owner even gave a little relief to understand what was happening, he would know that the police were there in his favor.
On another hand, everyone is talking about Gates and the officer. What about the neighbor? Shouldn’t she know enough who was at the front door, before she called 911, such as the car Gates drives, and his looks, to know that his neighbor was frustrated at the FRONT DOOR before realizing he lost his key? Some neighbor.
Good point on the neighbor. Apparently Professor Gates didn’t get along with his neighbor.
Okay, the President just got points from me because he is meeting with Crowley and Gates for a beer. Probably should have done that one to begin with. Solves a lot of problems.
