From Fox
WASHINGTON — The Pentagon said Tuesday it has fingerprints, DNA, photos or reliable intelligence to link 27 detainees to the battlefields since their release from the prison on Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
That’s about 5 percent of the 540 terror suspects released from the prison. Another 9 percent of freed Guantanamo detainees are suspected to have rejoined the terror activity. That’s 74 detainees in all.
It’s interesting to note that one local far-left extremist blogger recently posted this:
And Souder’s claim that 61 released detainees have committed terrorist acts is a complete fabrication.
And linked to this at Media Matters:
Fox News hosts Sean Hannity and Brian Kilmeade advanced the myth that 60 or more former Guantánamo Bay detainees are known to have, in Hannity’s words, “gone back to the battlefield.” However, according to the Pentagon, only 18 former Guantánamo detainees have been “confirmed” to have “return[ed] to the fight,” while an additional 43 former detainees are “suspected” of having done so. Even the Pentagon’s “confirmed” figure has been questioned by analysts.
Make you wonder where their anal-ysts get their information. Then again, Hannity and Souder were wrong, they were short by about 14 terrorists.
I find it interesting that the Pentagon is providing this information, making complete fools out of the Obama administration, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.

Admin Dan:
If you ever seen the movie SEVEN DAYS IN MAY…you might not think it all THAT wrong of the Pentagon (or any military agency)…think about it.
I’d suggest Craig Skinner open his home to the gitmo detainees. They both have pretty common goals and ideals and could be a real help to one another.
