Soon we may see Obama’s Mandatory Volunteerism Plan come to light. Sound oxymoronic doesn’t it? Mandatory Volunteer?
Somehow last week both houses of congress pushed forward an expansion of the Americorps national service plan. If you recall last year, the Obamassiah proposed a civilian national security force that’s “just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded” as the U.S. military.
The legislation included this language: “a workable, fair, and reasonable mandatory service requirement for all able young people.” In other words, start the goose stepping when they’re young, and expand the boots on the street. That’s right, Obama wants his own civilian army of young people. Does that ring any historical bells with anyone? How about the guy with the funny moustache?
Chris DeHaven of Birmingham, AL appears to have started his own Obama brigade. DeHaven and his group of obolunteers spent last Saturday campaigning throughout their city attempting to garner support for Obama’s $9 trillion spending spree. DeHaven told his volunteers: “We’re looking for supporters. We’re not looking for a fight. That will come later, when we have an army.”
To reiterate: Obama: “We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”
Just as powerful? What will be the weapon(s) of choice? Maybe they can provide them with Browning M2 Machine Guns to mount on top of their VW Bugs, and for the boots on the street, Mossberg 590 shotguns? Hell, they’re both great at crowd control.
It seems Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel was in the forefront of this idea as far back as 2006 when he penned the book “The Plan” (link is to Amazon.com). In the book he calls for, “All Americans between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five will be asked to serve their country by going through three months of basic training, civil defense preparation and community service.” In other words, screw democracy and bring on dictatorship.
Between the house and senate versions, the house bill stinks the most. It’s H.R. 1388, or, the “Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act.” Here’s one interesting snippet from the bill:
H.R 1388 allows institutions of higher education to incorporate service learning as a part of health professions, criminal justice, public policy, and teacher education curricula. In addition, it provides special consideration of applications submitted by Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Hispanic Serving Institutions, and Tribal Colleges and Universities. H.R. 1388 requires institutions of higher education to meet the requirements for the Federal Work Study program to participate.
And this:
H.R. 1388 recognizes the following national service programs eligible for program assistance:
Education Corps
Healthy Futures Corps (to identify unmet health needs within communities)
Clean Energy Corps (to identify unmet environmental needs within communities)
Veterans’ Corps
Opportunity Corps
Ah yes, the Clean Energy Corps, which will go house-to-house to confiscate your incandescent light bulbs and yank out your old toilets so you have to replace them with water-saving commodes. Shit.
Remember this?
Spooked yet?

Fools! The US Woodland camo pattern is useless in an urban combat environment.
Not to mention …it’s relatively obsolete (in favor of the digital patterns)…my God, the military went DIGITAL before the TV stations!
At least I didn’t have to get a converter for my shirts & drawers…(whew)
Brown shirts for the youth movement anyone?
Where’s those armbands?
