Where does Quayle live now and how long has he been gone from the district? I’m sure he is well informed on Allen County politics to make such an informed judgment. Tennis, anyone?

Sure a flurry of PR in the last few weeks from Chairman Shine, more perhaps then all last year, or the year before combined (less the advertising for fundraisers of course).

Curious it comes as a precursor to an election. I’d like to think it represents a change, but the cost of finding out if it does is too expensive.

I’ll have to take Terry McDonald over Dan Quayle on this one I’m afraid, McDonald is in the trenches with us while Quayle is poolside in AZ being served a drink with an umbrella in it.

That doesn’t make him a bad guy, just not plugged in to our reality, so how informed a judgment is his endorsement. You have to ask yourself, will old-school rule?

  2. John Wonderly says:

Well, we’re trying “new-school” at the national level. How’s that working out for us?

  3. John Henry says:

    John,

Obama may be “new” but all he has done and all the folks he has surrounded himself with are “old school”. Wouldn’t you say?
