Or maybe, just maybe……we are more proactive in hunting down these idiots and working to close these meth labs down? It would seem the problem would be larger in the big cities, etc, but perhaps overall we have less murders, etc and we can work harder to go after these fools? Just me thinking way too late at night…
Indiana IS catching more “porta-labs”…that’s good we’ve jumped on that ASAP.
I wonder if the stats reflect any of the ICE coming up from Mexico?
They’ll cut the ice (here) with homemade crap to make even more money.
Be interesting to work the burn clinics in the area (and I’ll bet the hospitals are advised to call authorities when chem-burns are suspected…S.O.P. these days)
Makes you think twice when that car pulls next to you at a stoplight…does it have a 2 ltr. “cooker” onboard alongside that infant in the carseat?
And it really surprise me that NJ isn’t higher…
They have an area called the “pine barrens” in the East-Central part of the state….lots of nothing but pine trees, and some REAL “backwoods” folks, if you know what I mean.
Perfect place to have a few labs, but then again, the “pineys” (as we called them) don’t like to do anything that will burn them our of their homes/trailers (the barrens are tinderboxes EVERY summer).
By George, I just answered my own query…
(thanks, Bob)
(no problem, Bob)
bet most were in NW “corner” of Indiana…. CTA has buses that hit the area and of course I-80 is an easy way to the big city
so whether picked up or delivered there is easy access to Chicago
