Despite the deportation order, Onyango traveled to Washington last week for her nephew’s inauguration. News organizations observed her attending an inaugural ball at Washington’s Renaissance Mayflower Hotel, a historic luxury hotel, with her immigration lawyer, Margaret Wong.

It occurs to me that if our Columbia University and Harvard Law School graduate President can’t work within the United States immigration system to allow his aunt to remain in this country legally, his education might be a waste of money and the country in a really bad position.
