Okay, they say we need at least one. Let’s play the race card folks.

Race enters fight over filling Obama’s Senate seat

WASHINGTON (AP) – A House Democrat is daring Senate leaders to block a black man from taking President-elect Barack Obama’s vacated Senate seat.

Rep. Bobby Rush of Illinois points out that Roland Burris would be the only black man in a chamber populated overwhelmingly by white senators.

Bobby Rush is an ass. I thought Obama was black? How about we pick the person best qualified to fill the position and forget about their race?

Senate Democratic leaders earlier Tuesday added an explicit note of support for Burris personally, but not for his appointment by the embattled governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich. The leaders said the Democratic caucus would refuse to seat Burris if Blagojevich appoints him, and called their stance a reflection of the scandal-tainted governor.

Burris is 71 years old. That’s today’s 60, or something like that. Personally I’d like to see the senate filled with some younger people.

On another note, why is it they have the Congressional Black Caucus? God help us if the whiteys tried to start the Congressional White Caucus.

Even when the racist motives of blacks are pointed out, they are dismissed because black minorities were repressed and are entitled to favoritism.

From the May 27, 1987 edition of the NY Times we read that a NYC teachers manual contained this enlightenment:

One excerpt declares, ”In the United States at present only whites can be racists, since whites dominate and control the institutions that create and enforce American cultural norms and values.”

Another passage says: ”Even if an individual white American is free from all conscious racial prejudices, he/she remains a racist, for he/she receives benefits distributed by a white racist society through its institutions. . . . They do not have to consciously decide to oppress racial minorities in order to be racist.”

At another point, the handbook advises instructors that ”challenges are to be expected” on the book’s contentions that ”racial minorities cannot be racist in the U.S.A.” and that ”all whites are racist in the U.S.A.” The manual, Mr. Hikind noted, then provides instructors with ways to respond to such challenges.

Elsewhere… the manual declares, ”In order to change a racist society, all persons, particularly white persons in the U.S., must actively choose in some instance to question and go against authority, rules and values, in order to behave in an anti-racist way and fight a racist system”…

It seems that some things never change …blacks are downtrodden and whites are racist – simply because they were born.

If “I” were to follow the NYC manual’s declaration, that would mean I…

..MUST (actively) choose in SOME instance to QUESTION and GO AGAINST “authority, rules and values” (aberrant cultural norms), in order to BEHAVE in an ANTI-RACIST (normal) way and fight a (reverse) “racist system” (ghetto mentality black MAJORITY that sells drugs & exhibits criminal behavior in my area), correct?

Sounds like a plan to me.
