As far as the gift certificates it would be one way for a mother to provide money to their child for reproductive issues (not abortions) without handing over cash. As we are headed to a cashless society you are going to see gift cards become a norm to restrict where kids use money.

I am both Pro Life and Pro Choice It is possible to be both. I think that while it should remain legally accessible each infanticide needs to be scrutinized under medical ethics in a hospital and not in the backroom of a Clinic, where there is hardly medical supervision or ethics.

Its not exactly rocket science boys and girls, if you’ve ever HAD children and ever had an ultrasound, you cannot dispute little hands, legs, arms and heads. I don’t give a shit what your definition of “conception” is, I lost twin girls at just under three months and got to hold them in my hands as they died (this was almost 30 years ago, they would have lived today) and they didn’t look like any random “mass of tissue”. I’m not terribly outspoken on abortion, as I know it’s a terribly emotional subject, but at least set aside the hype and the bullshit, it’s a frickin’ kid you just KILLED. Be honest enough to admit it, if you’re gonna do it.

As for planned parenthood, I NEVER had a problem with them helping with birth control & dispensing birth control pills, as that prevents the problem of abortion becoming an issue.

But when I went to school, planned parenthood was where just about everyone went for Birth Control and STD screenings.

If you didn’t have awesome medical insurance or your parents would flip at the thought of you having sex, they provided the one avenue for you to get what you needed – knowledgeable medical advice and reasonably priced birth control.

You folks might be astounded at how many abortions their services *prevent.*
