WASHINGTON (CNN) — Interest in President-elect Barack Obama’s inauguration is running so high that one ticket broker is asking $20,095 for a single ticket.

This is not exactly true. Tickets are given to people by their Congressmen and Senators. Every Congressmen or Senator has a certain number of allotted tickets they can give to their constituents that ask.

Even with out a ticket, there is plenty of room (in the past at least) on the Mall. In the past they have set up “jumbotrons” and speakers.

I was thinking about going this year, but when I heard hotels are pretty much already sold out, and a typical $150 plane ticket is now $700 for the date, I decided against it.
