Paul’s a closet liberal….and “gun control” also works…ask ANY dictator.

Does anyone think it “odd” that drugs came into Ft. Wayne BIGTIME on “his” watch, and the southside was left to devolve in the process?

Love to attend, but Paul couldn’t handle MY line of questioning…and I don’t want to spoil breakfast for anyone…not even him.

Just because he is listed as a Republican does not make him a conservative. I’m with Tim on this. He hasn’t been a Conservative for years and the poor condition of our city is because of him and the people who came before and after him.

They may as well have the current Mayor come to the CBC.

Clearly the former Mayor is an expert political on local, state and national politics and that is what it says he will be speaking on. He and his family has been around Fort Wayne and Allen County politics for a long time, and politics has been an avocation for him throughout his life. He is certain to have some insights that will be interesting.

As a 3-term Mayor of Fort Wayne and the last Republican to hold that office, I for one will be interested in his take on HB 1001, the Kernan-Shepard Report, the Fort Wayne approach to economic development (giveaways and tax-abatements), and the current City budget battle.

Good question Gadfly, the last time I remember him being remotely conservative was while he was running against “windfall win moses” back in the 80′s.
