Graphic artists I have worked with admit it happens a lot to borrow “ideas” from what is out there. At least they didn’t flat out steal it in its original form.

Compared to the bad apple the mad apple’s eyes appear to be somewhat glazed tho… giving it more of the “Pothead” idea. If they were going to go with the Pothead idea, I mean seriously, I wish they would have went for a derivative of the great stoner character “Towelie” from South Park. From there they could have used a similar song to the song “Funky Town” and it could have become a theme song for advertising. I guess you would have had to see the Towelie episode to understand that though…

you know if they adjust the smile just a little bit more they could use our current logo for a nike swoosh full ride sponsorship for the team and all would be kosher.
