Palin Defended by the Huffington Post?
Trust me, I’m as surprise as you are. But if you haven’t heard, there has been a repugnant and vicious rumor being spread around on Daily Kos that Sarah Palin’s infant son Trig was not hers, but that of her oldest daughter, Bristol.
From the oft full of shit (emphasis AWB’s) Liberal website of note:

Well, Sarah, I’m calling you a liar. And not even a good one. Trig Paxson Van Palin is not your son. He is your grandson. The sooner you come forward with this revelation to the public, the better.
I’m sure this isn’t hard to believe, but this is now one of the most popular posts on the site.
But of all websites to call them out on it, it’s the equally liberal Huffington Post to the rescue:
The whole story is based on an insulting view of fundamentalist Christians; that they’d be so freaked out by a teenage pregnancy that they’d have the Governor — the most highly visible and public women in the small fishbowl of Alaska — fake a pregnancy to cover up the sins her of daughter Bristol.
That diary got ‘rec’d’ — voted as one of the ‘Best Of’ on DailyKos. The diary is uncited, breathless, and spins a story that’s totally far-fetched. Without going through the whole hot mess point by point, I’ll mention that no doctors, nurses, hospital workers or other patients have come forward to say anything was amiss. Plus, there’s this picture.
Unbelievable. Simply unbelievable. They’re not willing to take John Edwards to task, but they’re willing to tear apart a family and drag them through the mud and without any evidence to prove it! Oh, and I did I mention that it’s all Karl Rove’s fault?

This is only the latest in outrageous attacks against Palin as a mother. Fox News anchor Alan Colmes, of Hannity & Colmes, titled a recent post on his blog Liberaland “Did Palin Take Proper PreNatal Care?” In it, he wondered if she somehow was at fault for having a disabled child. Colmes took down the post after being attacked by the blog Wizbang and later reposted a screenshot of the blog to prove he “wasn’t running away from what I posted.”
I’ve always had a great disdain never liked that liberal fscking asshole Colmes. This proves I’m right in that opinion.

Wow. Talk about running scared. But how low can you truly go? Trig was born in April of this year. I am amazed and in admiration of this woman to have the career she has and to have a baby at this age. She is most definitely pro-life and a fine example of a wonderful woman. Once a woman is over the age of 35 and becomes pregnant, their pregnancy is closely monitored. One of the main reasons is because older women run a much higher risk of having a baby with down syndrome. Sadly, they are closely monitored and the health of the baby is determined early in the pregnancy, allowing the couple to choose to carry the child or terminate life. I will be honest and admit to you that I do not know if this were the case for Sarah Palin – but I suspect it was. This information makes me respect this woman even more.
I wrote Dan an email and also one to Karen Goldner (our elected City Council member from the 2nd District). Ms. Goldner found an interesting way of spreading this crap. She pointed to an Alaska blog that contained a ref. to the child.
I pointed out to Goldner as an elected person this is wrong.
Maybe I will wait for the public speaking portion of the next city council meeting to ask her about this. Of course she will just set there and say nothing. I would guess the rest of council would set their with her. This is a gross miscounduct of elected person to promote such crap.
If she wants to argue platforms and so forth that is great, and that is what is needed.
It is just like the Democrats posting how she jacked the sales tax in her town, when she was Mayor. Yep they are dead on but I wish we had a Mayor like her.
What the Democrats failed to tell you that the main drag through her small town had several big box stores and two more where in the planning. That a study she had done that over half of the dollars moved through the businesses where out of town dollars.
What the Democrats failed to tell you that she also cut residents taxes by far more after the sales tax kicked in then they would pay in sales tax. I think us from the middle to the right call this a “TAX CUT!”.
What the Democrats failed to tell you that with the reduced taxes paid by town residents it also gave a bigger break to the poor. They would not spend as much at big box stores as those “RICH” people. So they obtained a bigger percentage of a break.
What the Democrats failed to tell you that she also build a community center/ice rink. Yep, and it is on the tax roll to help cover operations. Guess what? This is common all over Alaska and Canada in small towns. It is their center of community. Oh, let us not forget that Fort Wayne’s two ice surfaces are also on the tax rolls every year.
Let see Palin has run a small business, involved in her school system and how it was ran, represented the people on how her town was ran, prepared town budgets, prepared state budget, ran a state, oversaw the largest state in the union, and oversaw the most diverse social-economic make up of any state in the union.
I could go on but what I want everyone to do it get off their rears and research for themself for facts.
And now you know why people that want the TRUTH come HERE, Dan…!

It is a sad state when one of our elected officials would pass on a vicious rumor that is posted on a blog site. The bad thing is that anyone can write anything, we could say that a reliable source told us that Kevin Knuth was arrested for kiting checks around town, oh wait, that one is true.
Vicious people can put anything on a blog and there will be some rabid person out there that will believe it and pass it along. Ms. Goldner, please go get your shots before you bite someone else, because some people can bite back.
Palin is a remarkable woman as far as I am concerned. Trig is hers and not her daughter’s. I did some checking on the occurrence of Down’s Syndrome, and the highest risks are the (advanced) biological ages of the mother and father. See my post on “Fort Wayne City Council member helps spread lies.”
It is true about Kevin Knuth and check deception; however, it was only a misdemeanor charge and dismissed. No, I am not defending him by any means. I am defending anyone who repeats the incident either verbally or in writing. Got to cover our “P’s” and “Q’s”. Kevin Knuth also filed Bankruptcy back in 1991 or 1992. Of course, we DON’T know the circumstances BEHIND it. He, as I have told him, is a hypocrite and a trouble maker. He is just a mouth piece as far as I am concerned. He is so ready to judge Matt Kelty “guilty,” and according to KK, “the laws have been clearly broken.” Whatever!! I told him just because his check deception charges were dismissed DID NOT mean he DID NOT do it. KK hates me now, and he couldn’t even pick me out in a crowd; he wouldn’t know me from Eve.
