Let’s be realistic here. The US Senate has weekly, if not, daily foreign policy briefings and debates.

The Columbia City mayor’s office or the Alaska Governor’s mansion? Not so much…

  2. John Wonderly says:

McCain, whose own credentials lean toward foreign relations, said his preference would be someone with a lot of leadership experience who shares his values.

I think that that person, the first and really major overwhelming priority is the person shares my principles, my values, my priorities … and could be — immediately take my place. That’s, I think, the overriding criteria,” McCain told “FOX News Sunday”

    Kettle? Pot? Where???

If we compare VP pick to VP pick, real people don’t define “experience” as appearing on unwatched Sunday-morning talk shows every week for 35 years and having been around long enough to have got both the War on Terror and the Cold War wrong.
